Fire Dunleavy...or else
So, i guess the blame falls squarely on us die hard fans who actually bought into the fact that Dunleavy might change his coaching style and let this team. Instead, u have an unhappy Baron Davis, who has made it clear in the paper that he is not happy, and it seems like the rest of the team is just going through the motions. As a season ticket holder for 19 years, i can say for the first time, we r underachieving to the point of disaster. There is no reason for this team to be 1-7, its just not acceptable. I wonder if Sterling will ever develop the guts to stand up and get rid of Dunleavy as the coach, it is clearly not working. I am so frustrated right now, i dont know what to do or think. We have and still do have a good chance to salvage this month, but with displays like yesterday's game, it leaves me wondering when this madness will end. Appointing Dunleavy to GM was probably the worst thing sterling could do, cuz he is now pretty much running the whole team, unless he pulls a pat riley and steps down, i dont see us competing...I want to believe in this team, but have no faith in Dunleavy. The image of ewing guarding Bell still to this day haunts my dreams..
what do u guys think?

This game is the players fault not the coachs
they failed to play good defense and they payed for it in a loss. It is not the coaches fault they could not execute on defense . And it was not his fault that his players let Beno go for 30. This game rests solely on the players shoulders.
Soley?
Freakin Dunleavy is controlling the whole game. If he would’ve just let them play and not coach the whole game, they could’ve still probably beat them.
Our team is deeper, and more talented than the Kings in every way (athletically, 3 point shooters, rebounders etc.) especially without Martin.
Both the players and the coach has their faults but I put most of the blame on Dunleavy.
Hands tied with dunleavy...
Get ready for 20 years of MDsr…he has total control of the team and the only one with some, if little, basketball knowledge…
And, in the case he gets fired or steps down, who´s going to select a new GM and a new coach? DTS??? looks scary in every way…..
Come back Elgin, we forgive you…..
Dunleavy is an alright coach
He’s an alright coach. People that are clamoring for his removal….who do you guys want? Alvin Gentry? Uh, that didn’t really work. Avery Johnson? He’s a bigger control freak then MDSr. Don’t forget that Dallas had a few years being last in assists under his tutelage. MDSr brought the Clips to the 7th game against the Suns…better success than many of his predecessors.
When it comes down to it, our roster just isn’t that talented….but we will
I love LAC.
Mavericks sure had a better year
with Avery than Carlisle

Changes are in the works...supposedly
Of course the season ticket reps for the Clips will say anything, so I would take this with a grain of salt…but they told us that barring a sudden turn around in our fortunes, the Clips are going after Vince Carter or Al Harrington.
Supposedly, Dunleavy has the confidence of Sterling for now…and if he steps down from his head coaching position, Dunleavy would move into the GM office… possible replacement seems to point to Avery Johnson (who is worse than Dunleavy), Jeff Van Gundy (who is slightly better), and maybe Hubie Brown (if he can be coaxed out of retirement).
I wouldn’t hold my breath though. My guess is that the current rosters and coaching staff is what we will end the season with. That is, unless we go 1 – 50, then we might make a change, like say trade Brian Skinner for Brian Cook…something drastic like that…
