Coaches Don't Matter
TrueHoop links to a Slate piece which is about another piece, blah blah blah.
The punchline is, except in very few cases, coaches don't matter. And further funny, a few of the ones who do matter aren't necessarily considered good coaches and often get fired and at least one other loses early and often in the playoffs.
Pat Riley, Larry Brown...no effect. When it comes to coaches, look to Utah. Value stability and put the franchise over the current crop of players.
