I smell another trade.
What a day. I almost dropped my phone when I heard that Randolph was coming to LA.
The Clippers cannot have
Kaman, Camby, and Randolph on the team. They are weak at guard and improved a position that they simply did not need any help at. I smell a trade, soon. Camby or Kaman, I think, may be traded. But to where? And for who?
What is the second plan here? The trades are far from over.

Stand pat for now
See how it works. They have until mid-Feb to deal.

By mid-Feb...
I think there will be dead bodies in the locker room if something doesn’t get done soon. I don’t think the basketball is big enough for both Baron and Zach. They will be fighting and biting each other for possession of the ball and Dunleavy will just stand there and yell at the rookies to stand in the right place while Baron and Zach jack up shots from all over the court.

Vince Carter or Gerald Wallace?
New Jersey is another team looking for 2010 cap space.. If there’s gonna be another trade, could it possibly be Camby(and Hart or Ricky?) for Carter(and Douglas-Roberts?)..
The Bobcats have made it known that they want a big man.. perhaps Camby for Gerald Wallace straight up?

minnesota seems like the most realistic place....
mike miller and ryan gomes for kaman and rdavis?

minnesota basically has 4 PF's....
between jefferson, love, gomes, and smith and no REAL center to help rebound and anchor their D. i really think gomes would be a perfect back up sf/pf for us. if we could get him and miller for kaman and rdavis or hart, we’d shore up two major holes and get some of that 2010 cap space back….not to mention it would put kaman back in the midwest where hes probably more comfortable.

re:
What do you do for a center when Camby gets hurt or walks after 2010? I like Mike Miller but we can’t send Kaman out like that. This is going to be a painful year but I’d stand pat right now and let it play out with Gordon getting 25-30 minutes a game. I sure wouldn’t worry about finding playing time for Clippers, injuries have a way of finding us.

Man...
Those are some horrible trades.
You guys realize you’re giving up a starting center for a bunch of swingmen right? Not like swingmen are the easiest positions in the league to find or anything.

i hope you're not talking about
my mike miller proposal madglove….the guy is one of the most efficient shooters in the league currently at 52% from the field and 40+% from 3. he can pass, rebound, and can shoot lights out! ryan gomes on the other hand gives us a backup PF who can score(which we desperately need) and is cheap for the next 4 or 5 years. and lets not forget we gain $10 million back for the 2010 sweepstakes(just so we can feel like we’re in it again)….
vince carter and gerald wallace would be horrible trades in my opinion. volume shooters with bad contracts….so if thats what you were referring to i agree with you….

actually i've come full circle
on this trade. i hope we play it out. the thought of two dominant post players to run S&Rs with baron plus one former DPOY to anchor the defense…..we have the potential to be like the jazz on offense, but more like boston on D!
….at least thats our potential.
