FElton out for 1 month

Per this article, he is out for a month with a dislocated shoulder. This pretty much rules him out for the New Years Eve game. So much for the booing and t-shirts. I guess we will have to wait until next year. I have a feeling most of us will be over it by then. What a shame. Not sure FElton will truly understand how much some of us resent him for what he did.

THIS SUCKS...

This absolutely ruins any of the events anyone has been planning, now just booing won’t have the impact. Excuse me while I go cry and cut myself. Just kidding, I have no intentions of crying:D

Amazing

I wonder if he’ll ever be himself again.

I think this is an opportunity...

Look, how boring is it to boo a guy every time he touches the ball? It’s what Portland did to Zach last week, it’s what everyone does. But he’ll be in the building, and a coordinated effort will still send a message. The fact that we’re protesting his very existence goes beyond booing him when he’s in the game. (I mean, of course, who really gives a sh!t what a bunch of lame Clipper fans think, but still.)

At the LEAST, everyone with a Brand jersey should wear it with the recommended modifications. I have three suggestions, by the way:

Option 1 – tape over the B and the D so it reads ‘RAN’
Option 2 – tape over PART of the B and the D so it reads ‘I RAN’
Option 3 – tape over the R and the N so it read ‘BAD’

If there are enough of these in the building, they’ll get on the video screen. Like I said, I won’t be there, but I would wear it backwards – you’ll have a better chance of getting noticed.

I’ll try to get ahold of someone on the in house TV production, to make sure they’re looking for these jerseys.

In addition to the jerseys I liked the

“LIAR, LIAR” clap clap clap clap clap “PANTS ON FIRE” clap clap clap clap clap

I’ll throw that one out to Clipper Darrell. He’s the right one to lead that.

Without Brand in the game, it will be tough to know when to go into it. But I think everyone still gets it.

I think

the main draw with the new years eve game was that FElton WAS playing in it. Now that he is out, I doubt anyone might show up for this game. I am seriously considering not going now. It just won’t be the same.
And who is to say he will even be with the team. Do people who are hurt normally travel with the team on road trips? On New Years no less? Granted, FElton does have some ties here in LA, but I seriously doubt he makes the trip. Especially since he has made is crystal clear that his “family” is back east.
And as John R points out, who knows if this guy will ever be himself again. Prior to him blowing out his achilles, he was never really injury prone. Now, in the span of 2 years he blows his achilles (which he is STILL recovering from), and now a separated shoulder requiring him to miss at least 4 weeks. And the dude is not getting any younger. The older you are, the longer it takes to heal. Just ask Sam Cassell about that. FElton was such a good solid player for so long, that it’s difficult to see him go through all of this now. Although, him leaving town the way he did does make it is a little easier. ;)

Just looked at the Sixers sched

and their date in LA falls right in the middle of a 6 game road trip, with 5 of the six west of the Mississippi. I can’t imagine the team expecting FElton to go on a road trip like that when he can stay home and rehab every day.

I am still going

if only because the clips should win that game. And I am still going to wear the modified jersey with tape over the B and the D

or hes not injured at all!

Sixers – “You know FElton, you suck. we were better without you last year so sit out for a month and I want to see how we play”

Brand – “but…”

Sixers- "New Years Eve game, dont wanna get shot. "

Brand “yes suh”

yes suh lol

that is probably what he said when Falk took his phone away and told him not to talk to the clips any more.
