Out of sight, Out of Mind

"Out of sight, out of mind".

Not having Chris Kaman and his bow and arrows ( at :54)  around the last month, gives us a pretty good idea what we could do with out him. When he returns, what kind of impact do you think he will have?  He obviously won't be near the Kaman of  '07/'08. It took the absence of FELTON, a team with no depth, a 1 vs 9 Corey Maggette, and about 40 minutes of play to achieve a near average of 16 pts 13 rebounds 2.5 blocks.  We have that  in Marcus Camby who has an average of 11 points 12 rebounds and 3 blocks a game with a stacked starting  five.

So the next step now would be to evaluate what do we accomplish by having Kaman come back and have him fight for minutes from Marcus Camby & Zach Randolph?  We should weigh our options and see where we need the most help by converting Kaman's contract into a category where we are lacking.

Please comment and offer trade options that you feel may make sense.

-One example would be Stephen Jackson, (who wants to be traded) and another Golden State player that would make sense salary wise for Kaman.

Negatives-rotation wise where would we put him? His age and how long he gets 9 million a year, I think till he's 35!

Positives- his relationship with Baron Davis an old team mate who might be familiar with Baron's quick play style. Very versatile, he plays Shooting guard, Small Forward, and sometimes Power Forward.  Back to the long contract...  If we were willing to take Mobley at 30  for 5 years 45 million , We can certainly take ring holder Stephen Jackson at 30 for 5 years 48 million!

I also would like to see if you think what we should do with Kaman.... Here is a poll i'd like for you guys to answer.

Bench depth

Kaman or Camby will add greatly to our bench.

Yeah,

we need to keep him right now so that we’ll have somewhat of a legit bench, which has been our major problem the past couple of weeks.
