Rodney rogers... what a sad turn of events. I still remember one of the first clipper games I went to when I was probably 12 years old, I saw rodney throw down a 360 dunk against utah in a rare win.
This was back in the terry dehere, loy vaught days. I hope he makes some sort of recovery, its just sad reading about it when things like this happen.

I remember Rodney in college
What a player.
Also, I remember when he played for Denver, and scored 9 points in 8.8 seconds at the end of a game for the win. It was amazing. Video here.
Wonder why he was he working as a heavy machinery operator in NC?
F-Elton!
I stand corrected
The Nuggets ended up losing the game. Still, pretty awesom.
Lefty.

Article covers
him and why he was working.
Rogers, who was financially set, took the job with the Durham DPW because he liked working with heavy trucks, Williams said, according to the report.
“Rodney isn’t the type to sit around twiddling his thumbs. There aren’t any jobs he considers too small for him,” Williams said, according to the News and Observer. “He started his own trucking company and was usually the lead driver. He’d be out there driving to the quarry at 3:30 in the morning.”
I was a big fan of him when he was at Wake Forest, and am saddened to hear this news.
I respected Rodney
My thoughts and prayers are with him.
Very Sad
What a bummer. Does sound, from the TrueHoop piece, that there might be some hope for recovery with his rehab, but maybe not.
But perhaps more importantly it seems like he’s a very solid citizen, with a great attitude that will help him through a tough situation. Hate to see it, but it sounds like he’ll keep fighting. And his obvious good will towards others will come back to him and give him support.
