What about this trade proposal:

i'm hearing rumblings that the Bucks GM wants desperatley wants to make the playoffs to save his job and that Redd is at odds with several of his teamates.   The problem with the Bucks is that their GM over paid his players. Other then Yi, Bogut and Villanueva who are still on their rookie contracts, it seems that the Bucks GM over paid for every player on his roster.

This trade would give the Bucks the pieces to make a playoff push this season and they'll be capable of resigning Maggette at a much more resonable deal then the money that they are paying Redd and free up money for Bogut's upcoming free agency. With Maggette being from Chicago, he would very likely be interested in resigning to a team with such close proxmity to his hometown.

For the Clippers they would get their perimeter shooting SG to play along the slashing Thornton. Simmons would be a quality sixth man.  Redd and Simmons may be overpaid but they would really complement Brand and Kaman. Redd is a great three point shooter and Simmons plays at a very steady motion and has proven to be effective under Dunleavy's system...

Maggette/Mason
Yi/Villanueva

Clipper Roster for next season
