Gerald Green
He just got waived by the Rockets. Is he worth taking a flyer on? Remember, a lot of critics of the Korolev pick wanted this guy instead, almost as badly as Granger (obviously not now). Now, like Korolev, any team can sign him for practically nothing.
CONS: Couldn't even crack the T'wolves' rotation this year. Has the basketball IQ of my pet rock. Clips need a point and a big with their two revolving door spots, and Green is neither. Clips' "offense" completely ignores his "strengths": fast breaks and alley-oops.
PROS: Has a good-looking stroke, and Clips need shooters. Incredible leaper with Vinsanity-esque smoothness. Has the ability to blow out candles. May possibly put three more butts in seats per game. Is there even a downside with ATT in effect?
IMHO: Sign him. At the very least he should entertain during warm-ups, right? Let Barrett go, Mobley can play emergency point. Brand is going to take Fazekas' spot soon. Let's have some fun the rest of this abysmal season. I'd like to see MDSr's face when Green and Maggette are out there making "decisions" simultaneously.

Interesting
When I heard that Smush was waived, I thought RUN AWAY.
Of course the team needs a point guard with some size, and Smush is that. But he's also Smush Parker.
I don't see any downside with signing Green (of course there are probably 10 other teams in the same position). The fact that he does stuff like run and jump that the Clippers aren't especially good at is not a bad thing. Oh, and shoot. If you were looking at Gerald Green in a pre-draft workout, you'd think he has everything to be Cat Mobley's eventual replacement at shooting guard. And he's only 22. The fact that 3 teams have given up on him in less than 3 years is certainly a red flag, and in all likelihood he won't pan out. But the talent is obviously there - maybe the very real prospect of being out of the league if he misses again will be enough to get him to play some defense.
So I was 'Yes' to Green and 'No' to Smush. Of course the Clippers will likely do the opposite.

BB-R.com comparison
Grab them both and put them out there with Cat, Ross and Kaman and see if someone gets punched in the face.

Probably should add WP48 too
Parker = 0.033
Green = -0.053
Both below average, but Green is actively losing games for his team.
Please, please, please noone construe this as me lobbying for Parker. I'm just saying it doesn't matter.
