Al Thornton of the Clippers finished fourth in the voting, getting 1 second place vote and 27 third place votes. It's hard to argue with Thornton's final placement. Durant and Horford and Scola all played very well, and Horford and Scola are still in the playoffs. Furthermore, given that Durant was picked second and Horford third and Scola wasn't even in this draft, it just solidifies Thornton's status as the steal of the draft.
