The penny-pinching and over-cautiousness never seems to end for LA's little brother team. Undoubtedly, Livingston's injuries are a major concern, and the Clips should have been looking to be wary of overpaying him to too great an extent. But not even a qualifying offer? This guy was drafted as their franchise point guard. He has an immense supply of physical tools. He's still 22 years old!

this guy clearly is an idiot
the guy had a 6 million dollar qualifiy offer and had a 13 million dollar cap hold.
its not like he was the 28th pick in the draft.

As much as I would love to see him back with the Clippers...
He’s not coming back… I listened to an interview on 570 KLAC Thursday with Joe McDonnell and he was specifically asked about how he felt about the Clipers renouncing his rights…He kinda gave the PC answer and said that he figured that was going to happen but when they asked him if he wanted to re-sign with the Clippers, he paused and basically said he was looking to for a fresh start. He added that he thought that it would be best for him to go somewhere to start fresh BUT that he was thankful for every thing the CLippers organization has done for him…
HE IS NOT GOING TO RESIGN!
I was really hoping that he was going to answer that differently but he made it extremely clear…

it would be nice if he did
but i mean, if he doesnt want to, and if he’s insulted that we didnt give him the qualifying offer he’s well insane.
i mean 6 million? plus we coudl not sign anyone beacuse of his cap hold. i mean shaun potentially is great, but he’s got the body of an aluminum can. unfortunately he has reggie millers build, but not his durability
