PrintBaron Davis surprised some by opting out of his contract yesterday. He also expressed interest in becoming a movie producer. Would it make sense to take this point guard? And if so, how would we afford it? Maggette would have to go for sure to make this work. EB can stay, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him take a pay cut in order to improve the team. He said my main interest is winning, and I'll do whatever it takes, so we'll see.

This is looking likely. The risk is that if they whiff on Davis, Udrih may be gone. They should go after both.
