We should target
Barnes, Pargo, Evans, Childress, and Dooling.

I would add
Azubuike – athletic, defender and scorer. will fit in nicely in an up tempo offense. Would never resign Dooling – but agree Pargo is a good idea, but he is not leaving NO. Childress is my favorite choice, but again, Hawks ain’t lettin him go. I like Ben Gordon and am not opposed to Ricky Davis though he would be about my 4th choice

Frankly
I’d like to see TT go. He is a very expensive player to have coming in off the bench and is nowhere near the player he was in Phx. Sorry, TT, but you need to be packaged and shipped out.

If it were only so easy...
Of course we’d like to ship TT out, his production on the court doesn’t justify his salary. Problem is other teams know that too. We could only get rid of him for a worse contract. I think we need a backup big to play PF or C. If the Knicks would take TT and a lottery protected 1st round pick for David Lee and Jerome James I would be okay with that. Don’t take on Jeffries though as it would eat into our 2010 piggy bank.

TT is still a good 6th man
I think our expectations of TT were slightly too high last year…he was our starting PF, he has a large contract, etc. However, he does serve a purpose now as a valuable 6th man, esp with the 2 productive centers now. TT will be the primary defensive weapon when teams decide to “go small”...he can still guard quicker PFs and when motivated, is a decent 6th man, as can be witnessed on the Suns, bucks, and his first year on the Clips. Now that the team is somewhat decent, TT can return to being a 6th man who can provide a scoring punch as well as defend.
I love LAC.

TT isn't that bad.. and his salary isn't that large
honestly TT makes the MLE.
he can hit 3s, be a spot starter and isn’t really too terrible. Keep in mind he makes about 5.5 million a year, which is 1.3 million more or so than rony turiaf now makes.
He isnt THAT overpaid considering he is pretty versatile with his shooting range, and ability to play PF and SF as a bench player.

You forgot about Brevin
He’s a pretty good backup PG. He runs the offense, is a pest defensively. If he’s playing 15-20 minutes per game he’s perfectly fine on your team.
