New signing today!

Coach Dunleavy  just revealed on 710 ESPN that the clippers will sign another free agent today! Wow, I can't wait to see who this will be!!! Are there any rumors out there concerning this signing?

It probably won't be Shaun Livingston who is mentioned as a possibility for the suns today: http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/53634/20080717/suns_could_bring_in_livingston/

Does anyone know exactly how much money the clippers have left for another free agent?

Ok

I’ll guess Von Wafer.

Just because his name is fun to write.

Get me BD and 75 and I'm in

hmmm...

Maybe Matt Barnes?

Oh me, oh my!!!! The Red Baron has come home!!

I'll say...

Barnes to replace Ross or David Harrison or Chris Andersen to bolster the frontcourt.

Guesses

I’ll go with Kirk Snyder or Ira Newble

This is difficult

Would they go for Bonzi? He played for MDSr before, right? Tough backup SF/SG?

Or more of a straight SG like K Rush or Azabuiki (sp)?

Childress? Too expensive I suppose.

Barnes makes sense too.

Childress...

Is restricted though, right?

Why the suspense?

Didn’t they already try Von Wafer?

I’ll go with Sasha Vujajovjdalsfjvlksjdvich

F-Elton!

LOL

And you might be right about Childress. Forget him.

Barnes or Snyder

would be my guesses…I hope they aren’t referring to signing QRoss….
and yes, Childress is restricted.

I know...

that I’m dreaming… but with all the chatter about J-Smoov being unhappy in A-Town, I find myself day dreaming of the possibility that somehow, MDsr is in the midst of pulling off one of the greatest sign & trades in history. JS for TT, CM, and SL?

I know, I know. Not going to happen. Money wont work, Hawks aren’t that dumb, etc.

Let me dream.

Oh me, oh my!!!! The Red Baron has come home!!

lol

and Lakers fans would bend over and kiss their own asses goodbye.

Oh me, oh my!!!! The Red Baron has come home!!

Me like.

Oh me, oh my!!!! The Red Baron has come home!!

That sounds about right.

So money-wise, it’s possible if we gave up TT and Mobely. Then turn around and sign Chris Anderson to replace TT’s size.

Oh me, oh my!!!! The Red Baron has come home!!

by Clipper T on Jul 17, 2008 2:54 PM PDT up reply actions

How could that be?

Isn’t Mobley around $ 9 M by himself?

by Jax on Jul 17, 2008 3:01 PM PDT up reply actions

I thought he was making less than that.

But I’m probably wrong.

Oh me, oh my!!!! The Red Baron has come home!!

Looks like it's Azubuike

Oh me, oh my!!!! The Red Baron has come home!!

Really? Good sign by MDSr

I will give credit where credit is due. He’s got some promise. And he’s a young, up tempo guy.

by Jax on Jul 17, 2008 3:01 PM PDT up reply actions

Yup!

I dig it. BD surely had to give his recommendation for this to happen. Just hoping the Warriors don’t match.
