I assume this does indeed mean he’s playing. He already has a passport (he went to Russia two years ago). There’s one and only one reason to get a German passport.

Here’s hoping that Germany qualifies for the Olympics (they have to make it out of the final qualifying tournament in Greece in a couple weeks). I’d love to watch him going up against Dwight Howard. Team USA has gone really small – no one other than Howard can really handle Kaman on the roster, and Howard is hurting right now. Could be interesting.
