Uh-oh...who is going to wear #23?
Top: Eric Gordon, after being introduced by the Clippers on July 2.
Bottom: Marcus Camby being introduced, July 20.
So, which guy is going to wear MJ's old number? They can't both have it.
It would seem that Gordon had the number first as a Clipper, but Camby has been in the league for 12 years, wearing 23 for 10 of those years.
Was the rookie bought out? Or was he persuaded some other way in to giving up the number to the elder Mr. Camby?

Rookies always lose
Even if they got there first, as is the case here. They wouldn’t have let Camby show off the 23 at his press conference if they hadn’t already decided, it seems to me.
Maybe EG got a nice watch out of it or something.

Give it to Camby
as opposed to the unproven rookie who had a terrible shooting percentage in college. Two years from now, we’ll see.

Good one
Give Gordon 42.
Who else has worn a red 23 over the years? Does anybody know? ...now that we have two guys who want it.
So sick
Get me BD and 75 and I'm in

No way!
Joe Bryant was a Clipper!!? And his no good son made a verbal commitment to Dunleavy and then backed out?! That’s outrageous! In all of the spin of Kobe’s 05 Machiavellian dance, not once did I hear him say “my dad was a Clipper and it always intrigued me to try to create a new legacy, and create some excitement for the people in the city…” How did that not happen?

I forget LeBron wore #23
Doesn’t really matter anyway. I was just mostly kidding. (What’s so special about that damn number anyway? 33 I get. 32 I get. 34 I get. 21 I get. 13 I get. 7 I get. 1-5 I get. 23? Inverse of 32 maybe? Not so much.)
