How about Vujacic?

After missing out on Azu, I'm not sure there are a lot of great options unless they can pull off a trade.  I still hope they are able to resign Shaun Livingston because of his defense, size and versatility.  Checking out the LA times story about Sasha Vujacic that has him potentially following Childress' lead into Europe, I thought he would be a pretty good fit for Clips.  Not sure if the Lakers would let him go to the Clips, but he's a real good defender and has a very nice 3 point shot.  Could this be what Ramona Shelburne's waiting to announce?

Funny

It’s funny that we’ve basically ignored Sasha. He’d actually be a pretty good fit, although a little small to help at the three. I don’t know how high the Lakers are going to go for him. But I’m pretty sure he can make more than $3M per season in Europe, in this new wacky world of international basketball.

But

The story says he wants 5mil/year from the Lakers and they already made a QO of 2.6 mil, so the Clips probably cant make an offer that the Lakers wouldnt match. But it says he wants a 6 year deal. I dont think he’s getting a six year deal

maybe Gomes?

Wolves only offered him 3 mil. Maybe he wants to come to LA?!

He's restricted, I think

If he’s restricted and the Wolves already offered as much as the Clippers can, he’s out.

Good point

His is restricted so, not an option.

it isn't Josh Smith

Funny comment on ESPN about Smith’s situation

He [Smith] wants $12 million a year. His position is that Philly was willing to pay him close to that until Elton Brand became available. And word around the league is that the L.A. Clippers were willing to give Smith $13 million a year before realizing they could get Marcus Camby for three jock straps and a pair of beat-up Air Force Ones.

Chris Broussard is a dangerous guy to listen to

He’s probably right in this case as so few teams out there had any money to spend, but Smith might want to take the QO and go back to free agency next season. That might be the time. (He is not in Josh Childress’ position.)

No mistakes in the tango, darling. Not like life. It's simple. That's what makes the tango so great. If you make a mistake, and get tangled, you tango on
