Around SBN: Kobe Bryant Isn't Up To Speed On Jeremy Lin, 'Linning'

IS THE CLIPPER WEB SITE THE WORST, OR WHAT?

Not a single bit of information or news on Brand, Mags, free agents, goals, ideas - nada.  The Clipper web site's main feature is that the try outs for the Clipper Spirit (the ugliest girls in the NBA, IMHO)  are starting.  Are you kidding me?  Who cares?  How about some info, reaction to FElton's Coltesque departure from LA, MDsr statement, anything.

What's the point of even having a web site if you're not going to keep your loyal fans apprised of what is going on?

Haha I was just thinking that a couple of hours ago when I visited the site. I almost puked when I saw that the dance tryouts were the main feature and free agency was NOWHERE to be found. Maybe they’re still in denial.

Webmasters aren't free

That would require the Clippers having a full-time webmaster. The Clippers aren’t going to drop 40-50k for that.

That is the official team website

It is not a rumor mill or message board. It sticks to NBA approved facts only.

Try Google if you want more info.

I know

its the official web site, but that doesn’t mean that you ignore the news and let the fans know what’s going on. There are so many hoops sites out the where rumors and info can be found, but who has better access to MDsr or Elgin that the official web site? (that’s a rhetorical question)

BUt it's BRands punk ass is officially gone!

THey could at least acknowledge the fact that he’s gone but that the Clippers management were working hard to find a replacement. Keep us feeling a little confident in the ability to sign another free agent. CLippers can’t catch a break.

They don't deal in speculation and rumors

It would be presumptive and unprofessional.

The phone lines must be blowing up

Evidently after Baron agreed to sign last week there was a huge surge in season ticket purchases. Now that FElton has gone east alot of ticket holders are demanding their refunds. I’m happy I haven’t purchased tickets now, if they sign Okafor or Josh Smith I’ll buy some, if they don’t do jack then I might not even watch on cable next year.

Clipper Spirit

Did you call the Clipper Spirit ugly? We don’t do that around here. Apologize. A-pol-o-gize!
