Ellis Out, Warriors Look at Livingston -

From HoopsWorld. Interestingly, I said last week that I thought a pairing of Livingston and Ellis could be very interesting. Obviously the Ellis injury makes it more likely they may sign Livingston, but it's Ellis and Livingston healthy that gets interesting.

Is Livingston really able to contribute now?

I’ve seen nothing to affirm that theory. And then, “Livingston is said to be looking for a guaranteed deal…” I assume that means more than a year? Really? After THAT injury? After reading that article, as much as I like Maggette and hope he does well, the Warriors seem like a big fat mess.

Hard to say

It’s HoopsWorld, so it’s all dubious to begin with. But if you lost your two best players (Davis and Ellis), with only Maggette in return, you’d be a mess too.

The other thing is that Grover in Chicago has been saying that Shaun will be ready for this season. He’s the first one whose said anything like that, but we’ll see.

In this world, you must be oh so smart or oh so pleasant. Well, for years I was smart. I recommend pleasant. - Elwood P. Dowd
