2010
In 2010 as many of you know tons of all stars will be up for grabs as free agents. And we could have as much as $30 million to pay to big time free agents. So who should we sign or should we make a move before then. I would say some of the free agents we should look at are Lebron, D wade, and Chris Bosh. Any other free agents we should look at that season.

It all depends on who opts out...
but others to also be considered (in addition to LB, Dwade and Bosh), in no particular order, and no relative importance are:
Kobe
Dirk
Amare
M. Redd
As 2010 approaches, we should have a better feel for which of these guys are actually available, and who is off the table (via signing an extension, etc). It’s fun to fantasize right now, but I think the Clippers will target a power forward (ie. Dirk, Amare or Bosh) first, and then see how things shake out after that. This is all speculation of course, and things most likely will change in the next couple of seasons.
Another likely scenario would be for the Clips to trade their cap space or players (ie. Thomas, Cat and Camby) for proven stars, first round draft picks, or a combination of both in the upcoming year(s). Who knows how it will all shake out, but it is definitely exciting to think about all the potential prospective signings and deals….and if things go according to plan this year (ie. playoff run), it will make the Clippers that much more of an attractive destination.
But lets not get too far ahead of ourselves here. Next up is rounding out the current lineup, and preparing for training camp. :D

Amare
didn’t even think about him. But I wonder if it would be possible to get two of the superstars that have been said. But I’m probably getting ahead of myself because we have yet to even start this season let alone 2009-2010 season that will both affect our standing in the 2010 free agent game.

I'm going with Dirk
Just because I find Kaman so amusing, I’m pulling for German gold. (That and the fact that the US team seems like a bunch of spoiled stars, one less likeable than the next-though I have no beef with LeBron, DWade or DHoward I guess-, with the worst of them, Kobester, trying to salvage his Finals humiliation with a gold medal. And perhaps the one guy I might like less than Kobe is ratface Kryszewski. Tossup.) That is followed in this fantasy by Kaman drilling 18 footers this season and stepping out to the 3 point line, just like his new BFF Dirk. After the Clips wildly improbable success over the next two years, a bunch of players are dying to play with BD, Kaman, Thornton, Gordon, etc., and Dirk makes a reasonable deal to try to win a title. “Get me 75 and Kaman and I’m in!”

i also am secretly hoping dirk teaches kaman everything
kaman is learning how to hit 3 pointers right now. or at least 19 footers. while having a dribble drive game and still retaining his post game. i hope. that could make him the PF on offense with camby as the garbage offense guy

I am secretly hoping...
that Kaman is learning how to pass efficiently out of double coverage in the low post.
