Want to throw out a trade idea (accepted by ESPN Trade Machine) and get your thoughts:

Clips Trade:

- M. Camby

- A. Thornton

- R. Davis

Jazz Trade:

- A. Kirilenko

- R. Price

Why the Clips do it:

- Need to cut bait with Thornton after coming to realization he's too one dimensional and is unlikely to develop much further in his career.

- Decide they'll have trouble attracting free agents in 2010 and so should use Camby now to get a  better, longer-term solution on the wing.

Why the Jazz do it:

- Future cap flexibility (2-guard to complement/relieve pressure off of D. Williams?); realization that they don't have the team in place to compete for a title right now

- Low Post insurance in case C. Boozer leaves this summer (or they decide that P. Millsap is a viable replacement, and that a front line of Okur-Camby-Millsap and wing combo of Thornton/Harpring/Davis is doable in the near-term)
