my thoughts on today's game
Today was another entertaining game without our 3 superstars. I'm not a fan of Dunleavy but I think he sparked us with his ejection.
Bad Stuff: The refs were definetly on Nash's sack with all those charge calls and offensive fouls it was B.S.
Two of the most important possesions of the game were a Camby fallaway jumper and a Brian Skinner jumper.
Gordon had a bad shooting game. I still love him though, he was due for a bad game but he still got to the line and that was good
Lastly, why did they take out Steve Novak and Fred Jones when there was like 5 minutes left in the 4th quarter. Novak was fresh of his third consecutive three and Fred Jones was playing well, orchestrating the offense, I think Dunleavy texted Hughes from the locker room to make those subsitutions.
Good stuff: Camby had another dominant game on the boards and he had a sweet alley-oop in the first half
Al Thornton bounced back from a couple B.S. offensive foul calls and it looked like he was playing with anger and passion in the 4th quarter and he owned the Suns defense with 3 dunks in the fourth quarter,he also shot very well
Brian Skinner played solid D on Shaq and he even came away with a sick block on him
Fred Jones and Steve Novak both played great off the bench and sparked a 4th quarter comeback where we took the lead.
I was at this game and the crowd was really getting in to it with all those Steve Novak threes and bad calls by the referees. The game was getting feisty. You usually don't hear Clipper fans getting very loud at the games...... Like Baron said this team has to start getting something to build on for next season and i think they're doing that

I hate offensive calls
Dam steve nash got me so mad getting in front and taking the charge. Al should of hit nash hard… so he would learn to not get in front of the big boys.
Eric gordon had his first bad shooting game of his career, yet he manage to get 14 points.
Good post
I enjoyed reading it and i also got mad at nash today I feel any player who goes for a offence foul more often then making a play on the ball is disrespecting the game of basketball thats my opinion sticking with it! Ther is nothing wrong with a good offencive fowl but when your goto defenvie move is to take a charge thats sad and all i can think about is when he made the same sad play on kobe and kobe made him pay with a nasty dunk on his head and of coarse he bitched afterword.
If it wasn't Kobe
the refs probably would have called a charge. The refs really have to come up with a better guide line of whether it is a charge or block.

better guideline
A better guideline than ‘who is the bigger star’? Really? You think?
Charge/block is a tough, tough call, and it always will be. I’ve heard people argue for eliminating the call altogether. No such thing as a block – defenders aren’t allowed to just get in the way, that sort of thing. But it’s pretty obvious that that’s not tenable. Imagine the carnage if there were no disincentive to a player like Corey Maggette to going straight to the rim. It becomes 4th and inches in the lane.
