He sat out a few weeks, then began working out last week. Tuesday night, as he tried to work himself back into shape, he "tweaked" a hamstring muscle and set himself back another week.
These days, it's even dangerous for Clippers to rehab. Davis, who was out with a bruised tailbone, just tweaked his hamstring working out.
Looks like more Mardy Collins for the next couple of weeks.
Baron had been playing poorly and Mardy is playing very decently.
Since gaining a larger share of minutes, Collins has put up respectable numbers, averaging 12.0 points (44.6% FG), 6.5 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 1.9 steals in 10 January games.
I'm actually kind of looking forward to seeing Mardy playing PG with Zach and Camby in the lineup. Or at least Zach and DeAndre. Although with Zach invading the basket area, Jordan may not have as many dunk opps. Seems Jordan really benefited from Novak's deadly 3s pulling out the other teams 4 man.
Oh well. Another experiment to look forward to.
