First!
Haha.. anyways looks like Baron AND Camby are playing tonight.. should be a good game.
Fred Jones is now officially a Clipper for the rest of the year
Hey cantthinkofagoodname – psyched BD and Marcus are back tonight?
I’ma alittle concerned it’ll have an adverse affect as they’ll both be rusty. No idea how many minutes they’ll play. I imagine baron plays about 25 but marcus will try and play 30-33.
oh no doubt about camby
I hope baron is 100% because I don’t want him to come back unless he is… In truth, I’d like tto see some more mardy collins running the show.
I think your min allocation would probably be accurate.
any predictions for tonight?

As always, I’m quite confident. But then I did still feel that we could get back into the warriors game with only 3 minutes left when clearly there was no chance.
We need EJ to be hitting tonight and for that to happen we need to get him curling off screens. he’s had to go away from that in the last game or two as he’s taken more pg duties but hopefully with Baron back we can see the real EJ again.
Hmm…I’ll say a tight game – no-one over 100…91-87 …clips win.
looking at the boxscore
DRose and deng are tearing things up…

Lawler just talking about Baron davids’ injury and said ‘A lot of people think these guys are happy to be injured at not play and take their tmie coming back but they don’t realise that playing is easier than rehab!‘…..unless you’re playing for the clips.
Also, our defense is APPALLING. Bulls are able to get any jumpshot they want and can drive at will.
He’s keepin’ us in the run for Griffin!

EJ get's a lay-up to go in
We must be shooting 30% from under the rim
The World Series would be a lot better if the Angels were in it.
Coach dunleavy said the reaosn we’re down is because we’ve missed 4 layups…NO, IT’S BECAUSE YOU’RE A BAD COACH.
Although in this case, he’s actually right.
u know watching ricky davis celebrating really got me sick
i mean man you are loosing by 14, you just make a 3pter ok good but don’t laugh and celebrate as if it is all OK, it’s not
we are winning.....
a better chance in the lottery….. i actually want to stop watching the game but clippers game are so rarely in tv in peru that i have to treasure this precious minutes even if we are playing the way we are playing
Peru?
They actually show Clippers games in Peru? I am astounded…you know sometimes, they won’t even show Clippers game in Los Angeles…and they’re local ball club…the Clippers often gets bumped off the Fox Sports Net telecast by girls high school field hockey games.

they don't usually do
but i just recently get nba tv as part of the new upgrade in my cable so now i can see one nba game per day and well after two weeks of watching almost all the other teams yesterday was clippers turn, but we actually got a good nba coverage here, we got 1 game on espn on wednesday and 1 on friday and one local channel has 1 game on saturday and occasionally one on sunday (and they kinda love the spurs so almost all the game are spurs), plus now with nba tv they are way more games.
just remember
this year draft is weak so we need a really high pick to get something good
yes, why???? just the 1st year of his contract and the guy has been injured most of it
we should give him more time, trade him seems exaggerated, give him more time.
Wow that is the lamest excuse i have ever heard
an all star caliber player like baron should be in immediate impact on the team. I knew he was no use for the clipper franchise the first quarter of the first game. Just get rid of him already.
ok, let's assume trading him is a good idea(which is not)
what do you want to get for him, and who do you put at PG ???
i would put cheik samb at point gaurd
but seriously, baron is really inefficient. He slows down the entire offense overrall. He should just stick to the Jason Kidd style kind of play.
And you’ve made this decision based on how many games? I’m pretty sure if MDsr gave Baron the green light to play like he did in Oakland, he’d lap it up. My money is on him being told to not go allout crazy.
He makes 1 shot out of 10 attempts!
Elite Player? Definitely not this game. Doesn’t deserve to sit out in the fourth. Let him play all the way.
What’s the problem Highriser? Did Baron offend you when you were a kid?! I understand people not liking the whole injury mess but dude is pure talent. Playing a in a system which suits him, he’s one of the most effective players in the league.
Whether Dunleavy hels the team by doing that, is another thing altgether.
Baron is playing like crap...
even the earlier hard core Baron supporters in our section have changed their tune about the guy…I think opinion runs almost 90% against Baron now among season ticket holders.

Trading BD is a kneejerk reaction. people seem intent on blaming our woes on him. Okay, so he has sat out a while with an injury? Was he exagerrating how serious it was? Maybe. But that’s in the past. He’s an elite player in this league and he actualyl wante dto play here – name me anyone else who wants to do that? Plus even if they actually wanted ot trade him a $65 mill 5 year contract is too much for a lot of teams.
Positives from a big loss...
Small victories today: Fred Jones has continued to impress. He’s looked competent rather than incompetent which was my first thoughts on him.
Having Baron and Camby back, just seeing them out there is encouraging. It’s going to take time for them to get back to where they can be but for now, having them out there gives us hope.
DJ getting more aggressive with his throw downs. DJ off the alleyoop is an effective weapon and we should definitely look to it a little more in future games against weak centre teams.
don't forget better lottery position
we are gonna be a pretty good team when randolph returns and we are going to win games so this losses will help for lotter postition at season end.
As long as he is close enough to dunk it
remember the last game he missed 3 or 4 trying to dunk from too far out
Eric Gordon ROY!
that was terrible but not worst....
Goes up there with one of the top ten worst losses of the season.
1.Dallas-Complete collapse
2.Bulls- EG losing the game for us on a foul.
*3.Bulls-We all seen this bullcrap
4.76ers Ex Clippers game winners Tim thomas last play
5.Raptors-The softest team in the league bodies us and beats us up.
6.GSW-Morrow
7.76ers-At home with no Brand
8.Bucks-Killed all momentum
9.Kings-Beno
10.Nuggets
Nice List
I’d agree with all of them except the Philly loss wasn’t that bad at all. They’ve been playing better without Brand. I’d probably replace it with the Memphis loss.
the worst game since...
…Baron has been out? I rarely leave the game before the final buzzer sounded…but we left early tonight. It’s a disgrace. Where’s the heart?
Baron Davis...
…I’m confused why there is all the hatred towards Baron.
Okay, so his contract, matched with the amount of games he’s played in and the reason behind not playing in them has got people questioning him.
But surely, when a guy actually wants to play for the Clippers (which NEVER happens) and gets injured early on, and when he does return he’s playing Mike Dunleavy ball – which I’m sure the same imaginary 90% of season ticket holders will confess, is terrible at best – surely we should all give him more than a handful of games.
Dude is talented, no doubt about it. When you get Baron, you’re geting specific type of player who flourishes in one particular system. the same as when you get Steve Nash, you’re fetting a run n gun player. To sign him and then not adapt the system to utilise him best would indicate either the coach is clueless or the signing should have never happened.
Personally, I think that when you invest that much money in somone, you’re pretty much staking your future in them which would also indicate that you’re willing to go with them for the duration, whih in turn would mean you’d try and get them playing their best ball. Which we all know is when it’s at a high tempo.
Even if you were to ignore all that and say ‘The best players can adapt to any system’, I’d have to point out that Baron has played in only a handful of games this year and to judge him based on not even half a season is crazy.
Wait until the team is at full stregth and has 15 games minimum playing together and we’ll judge.
The same applies to Dunleavy. He’s doing some things at the moment which make me despise hmi but at the same time, I appreciate he’s got his work cut out havin a half dead squad.
Or failing that, just continue as you are and hate on a player whos career has shown how could he can be, and ulimtately, consign your self to another 5 years of misery. Your choice.
