Livingston, Miles Available?
The Memphis Grizzlies waived forward Darius Miles, who was trying to make a comeback after a two-year absence following knee surgery.
The Memphis Grizzlies have waived guard Shaun Livingston, Grizzlies General Manager and Vice President of Basketball Operations Chris Wallace announced today.
These two tidbits were posted in comments to other posts by sharp eyed ClipsNationers.
Just wanted to see how the Nation feels about maybe signing one of these guys back.
Here's the assumption.
This year is over. Chance of making the playoffs - .1%
Should the Clippers pick up these guys on the cheap - banking on their careers getting back on track by next year? Play them this year and see if they can get back, close to their former abilities?
People said Grant Hill was immobile and pretty much done after his surgeries but he's made a comeback, proving effective, even though he's not the Grant Hill of old...
If they can rehab themselves over the next year, maybe they can be a part of a strong bench for the Clips?

While we're at it......
Why don’t we sign some of our former greats to 10 day contracts, as a way of reliving our former glory…..just think of the players available!!
Benoit Benjamin, Keith Closs, Loy Vaught, Bo Kimble, Charles Smith, Elliott Perry, Terry Dehere, Mo Taylor, Danny Ferry, Danny Manning, Dominique Wilkins…..the list could go on and on!!
Chances are they would be more durable than 50% of the players on our current roster!
Keith Closs
Last I saw, Keith was playing for Tulsa in the D-League. So it could happen.
