WHO? ...FRED JONES also some Camby

The Clippers signed Fred Jones this morning and waived Hassan Adams (Who is one of the few Clippers that didn't get injured in his tenure, although I heard he sprained his finger looking on the Internet that he got signed).

I'm still not giving up on this team injuries have plagued us but when we get 100% healthy I think we're a playoff- caliber team, look at what Marcus Camby has to say about this season so far.

You should never give up on the Clips as even in losing they are infinitely more interesting to watch than the Lakers in the regular season. Camby has been a true professional this season and his effort has been inspiring. I hope it is contagious.
There is something about this team that draws me to them, I can’t quite put my finger on it.
I look forward to watching the games despite their record.

The lovable losers

It’s the same reason why Chicago fans always love their Cubs. Rooting for an underdog to win (and then said underdog actually winning) is more enjoyable than rooting for the favorite (and then getting mad that they only won by 2 pts).

Rooting for the Lakers is boring. So what if they win another title, it’s old hat.

But the Clippers….! And when that day comes it will be all the more satisfying.

When the Clippers win the championship it’ll be so satisfying, way more satisfying than Laker fans feel about their championships because with them it’s expected but for us it will just be awesome. And when that day comes we’ll be able to brag to all those Laker fan-Clipper hater people

My favorite moment as a Clips Fan

it was the one week during the 06 Playoffs where we were in and the Lakers weren’t. Wow, what a week. It was like all those years of misery as a fan finally paid off. All those years of listening to Lakers fans say things like “What’s the Salary Cap?”, “Who is Pau Gasol?” and “What is a Clipper? A Paper Clip?”, finally seemed worth it. It was sweet redemption. Unfortunately, those days are over.

I sure hope the Clips win a Championship in my lifetime. We are few, but we are passionate. Long Live Clips Naton.

I love LAC.

As somebody who watched Fred Jones in college

And when he played for my Blazers. He can dunk and play decent defense…thats about it.

I'll take it

We don’t have a lot of other options right now.
