Poll: Blake Griffin's Nickname
To: Steve Perrin (or the blogger formerly known as ClipperSteve)
Duh! I guess I never thought geographically because I thought your Blake Superior was more akin to Mother Superior than a huge pool of water! Haha Blake the Lake!
Which I think might have been good if he was on the BLakers (BLasphemy - I know) but what do I know?!
Seems like some people like it for a non-everyday kind of nickname?

Doesn't have to be lionheart
but we have a rare specimen who’s last name is a mythical beast made up of a Lion (king of the jungle) and a Eagle (king of the skies) that fits perfectly with a mountain of a man who can jump very very high for anyone, which makes it remarkable for a guy his size. If this gets his own shoe, they have to use the Gryphon as a symbol no? I might have to dress up as a Griffin for Halloween now.
Heck, he has street cred with the kids through Harry Potter
Blake Flying Griffin
Blake Head Boy Griffin
The Boy Who Flew
The Chosen One
The Seeker
Bleh, coming up with a nickname with lasting power is tough.
FA in 2010.
Nicknames come naturally
Eventually, he’ll get one that fits and doesn’t feel forced like most of the nicknames on the poll
how about...
Blake Griffin.
Just plain ol’ Blake Griffin.

Since Shake n Bake is doing well in the polls...
here’s one more plug for AtotheZ’s suggestion that we use it to refer to the Griffin-Gordon tandem. AtotheZ is thinking that Shake simply refers to Gordon. But this then competes with G-force, which is too cool to give up on. So I’m thinking now of Shake n Blake as an expression for a Griffin-Gordon give-and-go. “Shake n Blake!” I like it.
Can't really decide
