it is

Portland game is on TV. I actually have to decide if I’m going to go or watch from home. I have to coach soccer practice, which ends at 7:15. So either I leave soccer early to get there for the tip, or get there late, or just watch on TV. It would be sweet to be there for the debut, even if it is only pre-season.

I read

somewhere that he is only supposed to play 20 minutes, but it would be worth watching just for the feel of his first rean game. If I had a chance, I would definately go.

Are you sure?

I thought the first televised game wasn’t until the 12th? What channel is it going to be on?

Looking at clipper website

I don’t see this game being televised

My bad

I could have sworn that when I checked the other day, the schedule said the Portland game was televised. But I just looked again, and you’re right, the first one on TV is Monday 10/12 versus the Warriors. So NO TV Friday.

I guess that makes my decision a little easier. I’ll be heading to Staples, and the old assistant coach can just handle the end of practice himself.

I'm fortunate enough to be able to attend this game.

I think many of us will be and great discussion will come out of it.

Those that can’t attend will at least get solid feedback, unlike the GS game where most of us just had the box score to go by.

Woohoo!

I can’t wait to see Blake out there with the team. The new era can finally begin!

Thanks...

you just brought me back to an unhappy place.

Seriously

A new year, a new outlook. Last year there was so much drama during the off-season for the Clippers. I really believe, I want to believe, that this year is going to be much different.

I hope

this is the last fanshot I have to see which contains the phrases Blake Griffin and knee injury in it.

by Michael White on Oct 7, 2009 7:47 AM PDT reply actions

C'mon what about a fanshot that states

“Blake Griffin picked up another double double whilst Ricky Davis picked up another knee injury”!!!

No, maybe that’s too cold of me!!!!

Bingo! Oh me oh my!

actually

a Ricky Davis knee injury would be terrible….even if he can’t/doesn’t play well, we need him to be a decent trading chip.
trading an expiring that is playing near form = we can get a nice/good piece
trading an expiring that is playing crappy = we get a piece
trading an expiring that is injured = we get…?
