This article really does a great job of capturing what makes EJ so good. My favorite part:

"You'll find Gordon in the Double Awesome quadrant, where high usage and high efficiency combine to form Double Awesomeness. "

EJ = Double Awesomeness

That is a "double awesome" article...

This article has to go to the front page... It's too good for any Clipper fan not to see it.

done

This is classic Ziller. He loves Kevin Martin, and EJ is Kevin Martin in terms of efficiency. He also loves quadrants. Loves them.

Now that Shoals has moved on from Fanhouse

Ziller is my favorite basketball writer over there.

And that’s Gordon. When he pulls up from 28 feet, it looks perfect. Every time.

double awesomeness

That’s it. That’s one I’m going to be chewing on for a bit. “Double-Awesome” or “Double-Awesomeness”. Two variations of a nickname that just fell into our laps. The epitome of the birth of a nickname diagram. It was something that was done indirectly, directly relating to him, that can stick. Its odd and peculiar. Double-Awesomeness has the same amount of syllables as “double-o-seven” so go figure; if Steve and rant on in “i will take my ball and go home fashion” so can I. Double-Awesome for 3!
