Chris Kaman is Not on the All Star Ballot
The 2010 All Star Ballot was released today, and the most recent Western Conference player of the year is not on it. There are 12 centers available to choose from in the Western Conference, and none of them are named Chris Kaman. The only Clippers on the ballot are Baron, Blake, Al, and Camby. No Eric, no Chris. I don't know if there is anything we can do to get them on the ballot, but this is pretty ridiculous.

this can't be based on how they are playing....
Allen Iverson is on the list
(so is Blake Griffin…and an Al Thornton that is not anywhere near playing as good as Kaman)
…i hope there is a revision to this
…on that note, can Allen Iverson still start in the all-star game to represent for the grizzlies when he clearly doesnt want to be on that team anymore?

Yes
I can bet you he’ll even start without playing a single game

Guess performance doesn't mean a thing..
This list must have been compiled at the end of last season. Al Thornton? Yeesh.

there's gotta be a way to get them on there
maybe if we make enough noise, make a petition or something.
but then again, shouldn’t MDSr be doing something about it?

If a Clipper makes it to the all-star game
the coaches would have to vote them in.
The starting lineups are a popularity contest. Kaman plays for the Clippers. So he must suck and isn’t worthy of being on the team anyway.
Bynum (because he’s on the best team ever! smh ) or Stoudemire are likely to be voted in the center spot for the west.
It’s a shame that Gordon got snubbed, and then you look at some of the other players that were on the list, which makes the snubbing even worse.
Gordon and Blake will represent in the rookie game though.

Use it as fuel
Kaman should take it out on everyone of the centers who did get on the ballot. EJ should light up the other guards, especially OJ Mayo and Russell Westbrook but even guys like Stephen Jackson, Ramon Sessions and Barbosa.
Pretty ridiculous about Kaman thought, 12 centers on the ballot and somehow he doesn’t make it but Spencer Hawes and Antonio McDyess do.

its just a popularity contest, i hope he is added to the list. they know that clippers were not a good team with many “popular” all star candidates. its all for the show, i would love to see kaman on the court myself. we’ve only had a few from the clippers “davis, not as a clipper however” and elton brand was our last

Camby effect
It would be a bit unusual for a 19 win team to have 2 of the top 12 centers in a conference. Looks like the NBA went with Camby since he had a better year. I’m thinking they came up with the list before the season started, EJ being left off is even more shocking than Kaveman being left off.
