It starts with not being able

to get Kaman the ball early, and then Kaman turned into a triple team.

man...

seems like they get a list of 2 plays…the D sniffs them out right away (because we’ve only run them like 20-25xs during the game), players end up with the ball that don’t want/know to do with it…sheesh

Exactly

Now that Al is starting to take good shots BUTTler is taking bad ones. Whats kareem doing out there besides nothing. RickyD didn’t get to play at all, and he’s been productive on both ends of the floor so far this season.

by MTM22 on Nov 13, 2009 10:05 PM PST up reply actions

so....

any good draft prospects this year?

by screweb on Nov 13, 2009 10:01 PM PST reply actions

seriously, how do you blow that lead?

how do you go from an awesome first quarter where everyone is playing well, to stagnant plays and nobody knowing what they’re doing?!?!?

by baron davis' beard on Nov 13, 2009 10:05 PM PST reply actions

Baron taking over

how come he’s not taking over any of these games. He’s been playing better than last year, but if he cant find himself, he ain’t worth his fat contract wtih 2010 free agency after the season.

by MTM22 on Nov 13, 2009 10:10 PM PST reply actions

he played the whole second half

dunleavy should’ve freakin taken him out. where’s the rotation management???

I encourage everyone to look at this. Halfway through the 4th,the clips go flat.

Another clutch loss for the Paper Clips!

Another great second half coaching job by dumb loony!

by saxmanager on Nov 13, 2009 10:19 PM PST reply actions

Dunleavy is an idiot...

terrible coach, average GM at best. But he comes at a price the Donald wants to pay. I despise Dumbo as a coach but have no real hope that he’ll ever get fired. As long as Sterling can make money renting slums to immigrants he doesnt give a flying $hit about how competitive his team is. He gets his staples money, his rev share money and his advertising money. He is making money, what does he care about fans and dreams.

“I want someone who will, you know, let me put it in or who [will] suck on it.” – Donald Sterling

by Dow Jones on Nov 13, 2009 10:46 PM PST up reply actions

Oh theres WAY more where that came from...

“When you pay a woman for sex, you are not together with her,” he further testified. “You’re paying her for a few moments to use her body for sex. Is it clear? Is it clear?”

Maybe this is the secret behind the prolonged Dunleavy era? Pictures

by Dow Jones on Nov 13, 2009 10:51 PM PST up reply actions

Yep

And I like the quote where he calls the girls “Baby” because you’re not with them long enough to know their name. Or something along those lines. I’m too lazy to look it up.

by Dunleavy is an Idiot on Nov 13, 2009 10:53 PM PST up reply actions

Not sure about that one...

but here’s another doozy…

“[a]ll the blacks in this building, they smell, they’re not clean. And it’s because of all of the Mexicans that just sit around and smoke and drink all day.” – Donald Sterling

Terrific! You know…since a majority of the team is African American, I CANNOT believe they wouldnt be more motivated to play for this team. And Dumbo is a chicken who never had a head, let alone having it cut off…

by Dow Jones on Nov 13, 2009 10:58 PM PST up reply actions

Found it

“I’m a very flowery man,” he said. “If you are having sex with a woman you are paying for, you always call her honey because you can’t remember her name.”

by Dunleavy is an Idiot on Nov 13, 2009 11:00 PM PST up reply actions

Ahh good one!

This is fun!

Screw it….long live Dunleavy and Sterling….its the craziest trashy reality show in sports

by Dow Jones on Nov 13, 2009 11:21 PM PST up reply actions

LOL at the Gordon comments

yes the team sucks without gordon but can I just say something, we had the same damn problems even with Gordon. Hes not a freakin closer yet anyway so I dont know where this talk of him closing games is coming from… News flash we still lost and almost lost winnable games with Gordon.
Stop using injuries as an exuse… everyone has to deal with them

Clips Nation Word of the Day

Carapace – a shell; a protective covering.

They should have put a figurative carapace on the 20-point lead tonight, but they clearly didn’t.

The kids aren't alright.

by OhMeOhMy on Nov 13, 2009 10:56 PM PST reply actions

This one isn't all on Dunleavy This is a game where everyone just choked

It’s hard but with a game like this all you can say is from top to bottom everyone lost focus and we failed. Dunleavy used a solid rotation (though he could never afford to give Baron a rest), the 3rd quarter unlike the last the Clippers had not a mintue of momentum where the bench could have been brought in when Dunleavy would have to make a sub it would have to be at the perfect time or the team would get burned. This team needs a change though plain and simple and if you don’t see it by now you never will they need new direction because the Clippers are stuck in a lossing circle.

by KillaClip on Nov 13, 2009 11:04 PM PST reply actions

No Eg or BG

This may be the much used excuse but the league doesn’t wait for players you have to toughen up and fight. Teams are going to starting pulling away in the West playoff race and the Clippers need to get in gear what they want to do cash in for next season or make something happen thi season to overall get better. Waiting for EG and BG at this pace is going to have us in a hard place when it’s all said and done.

by KillaClip on Nov 13, 2009 11:07 PM PST reply actions

When I wake up in the morning...

The first thing I read better say “Clippers have fired head coach Mike Dunleavy”…

Only the Clippers can turn a 22 point lead into a 10 point loss.

Shameful.

I've got nothing.
