12. Eric Gordon, Clippers
Gordon has not played since Nov. 7 due to a groin injury. But he was playing at a fairly high level before then, averaging 18 points and four assists per game, while shooting better than 40 percent from 3-point territory. He has outplayed every guard in this class so far, except maybe Westbrook.

And to piss off our fearless leader:

Westbrook came in at #2 which is apparently built on 1 good game and his “potential.”

Westbrook still has the upside we all saw last season: He’s capable of carrying a team on offense while making play after play on defense. But like all young points trying to learn the position, it’s been a roller-coaster ride. In a five-game stretch this season, he amassed a whopping 29 turnovers. Then on Tuesday he killed the Heat with 24 points on 13 shots, seven assists, a steal, a block and just two turnovers in a huge road win. That’s the Westbrook we should be seeing more of in the near future.

Can't see it mate - Insider only.

Have they placed EJ as 12th best? Another anti Clipper bias from ESPN.

Bingo! Oh me oh my!

Yup

EJ at 12, Westbrook at 2. No argument from me though with Gasol at 1.

Other strange things. Thorpe is saying Gordon is better than every other guard except maybe Westbrook and the difference between the two is 10 slots. And even though Gordon has “outplayed ever guard in his class” except Westbrook, Rudy Fernandez is ranked higher at 9 which seems a little inconsistent.

Well

if its for the whole season then it might be about right. Derrick Rose is very low on that list as well. I could care less about the polls right now, I only care about the standings.

Please stop saying EJ

his name is Eric Gordon. Its not Eric Jordan. How hard is it to actually notice this. Sorry for having to create a log on to say this but it is soooo annoying. I went to the Pacers vs Clips game last year, front row and behind the bench and people can behind there and were yelling EJ at him. Seriously, does anyone else thing this is sooo annoying. Its like calling Kobe the Black diamondhead instead of Black Mamba.
