Around SBN: Raiders' GM Begins The Purge

So is Dunleavy's job safe with the win?

I did not watch the game and was expecting a blow out of epic proportions only to be shocked with a clippers W. I read they almost blew the game, but amazingly they pulled out a w. I'm just curious to if there were any fire dunleavy chants during this game and do you feel this has taken dunleavy out of hot water? What if the clips beat the wolves on monday and begin a two game winning streak? Or is dunleavy doomed with a wolves loss? By the way will EG be back for the wolves game.

my opinion....

I think his job is safe regardless of if they win or lose anyway….Sterling won’t fire him given the amount of money he’s owed and he made a good point saying he doesn’t have all the players available with him…

That said, I won’t hang everything with one win. Its good to win against team we’re not supposed to win, but its equally not as good losing to teams we’re supposed to beat. We’re not there yet.

By the way, my boycott continues. Come join me :) One game over .500 then I"m lifting the boycott…hahaha (replays and sports highlights not included)

Be careful....

Not watching Clips games gives a person a lot of time to do other stuff, which may or may not be good.

This is going to be my team, and we're going to rise together.

Sadly I agree 100%

as much as I dislike MDsr and believe he is a terrible overall HC, I doubt he ever gets fired. I bet we are all taling in 2011 about MDsr’s extension. He is a perfect HC for the Clips because he presides over freak injuries, unexplainable 2nd half meltdowns and the inevitable 4th quarter breakdown. His own son cant stay healthy; MDsr is a demon monster from hell sent to ruin any team he presides over; after all, Satan IS a Lakers fan

Wow, exactly. We are now doomed (like we weren't before) to another full year of

Dunleavy. Thanks alot Denver. Now I fear an extension. At least I won’t be buying tickets next year.
