Mardymania

I think Collins has some value when you need a good defender on the opposing team star(like Friday vs Melo) .  But he's a awful offensive player and why he was getting big minutes tonight against a team with no quality wing players is puzzling.  Kaman is double teamed with no outlet with Mardy on the court.  MDSR needs rotations based on matchups, but here he seemed to give Collins minutes simply because he was useful against Denver, even though another shooter(Novack, Ri Davis or Butler bad but better choices) were available.

well........

i can totally see where your coming from but mardy been on the bench all season. if dunleavy gives me minutes, i’de b happy cuz he’s a good guy and he just needs some exposure. Look at telfair. i’ve always liked telfair and thought all he needs is space and playing time…..he’s getting that and he’s picked up the slack for baron when baron decides to play wat i call “stupid ball”. (by the way, telfair dropped 17 points…atta boy!) so, mardy is a decent defender and not a fantastic 3 point shooter but can make them. just give the man some time. When he missed those easy lay-ups yesterday, it affects him as much as it would affect jordan, or bryant so give him some time maybe to stay after practice, get more work done offensively/defensively…. maybe learn a thing or two and will recieve more playing time based on how hard he’s worked at practice. i like mardy. he’s def. a half court player and he’s got some height to him and can not only play point but 2 and 3 if nec. so…. let’s not bash or criticize just yet. LET’S SEE WAT THE KID’S GOT. :)

P.S. MARDY, IF YOU PLAY 82 GAMES AND STRUGGLE…. I CANT KEEP DEFENDING YOU BRO!!!!!! PLAY HARD BUDDY!!!!!!!

I know it's easy to remember the bad

But I wrote a post on all the good things he did. Please check it out. I’m standing up for Mardy (at least until this point in the season).

heck, i can picture Mardy starting eventually with his D

and what about when Blake comes back? Will that put Camby on the bench?

Bassy, Rasual, Al, Rhino, Camby or DJ

With

Baron
EJ
Mardy
Blake
Kaman

as the starters

At this point:

Camby is aging, and there isn’t a point of having an injury prone center start thirty some odd mins. It’s best set if Camby can come off the bench, rebound and defend the basket, and stop the bleeding against the other teams second unit. Likewise,

Most likely Al Thornton is starting in the lineup. Thornton has been more effective as of late, and there isn’t a reason to fix him when he’s been producing well. Let the man play, and when its not broke, just don’t fix it.

Yup Al is Hot and Cold

So we need to ride him while he’s hot. Al should start, but will he stay aggressive when Gordon comes back?
Interesting to see how he will play WITH EJ.
