Coach Lawrence Frank Must Win To Save His Job
He takes full responsibility. For some reason, he's not blaming the injuries or saying that this is all so complicated that fans cannot understand.
Who is this guy and why can't he just blame everyone else like MDSr does?

I always liked Frank
I remember a few years ago there was an end of game debacle where he didn’t pull Jason Kidd at the end of the game in a clear foul situation. The opponent inbounded the ball and Kidd was the guy in position to take the foul so naturally he did. The problem was that the foul caused Kidd to foul out and New Jersey ended up losing that game in OT; no doubt they were adversely affected by not having their PG in overtime. A coaching blunder to be sure.
Frank took 100% of the blame for the result (while the loss surely wasn’t entirely his fault, he certainly should incur some of the blame.)
That being said, I don’t find Frank to be typical in this regard. Not a lot of coaches do that, and just from personal observation, the only reason I remember this story (from a few years prior) is because it struck me how rare it was for a coach to do that sort of thing.
Stan Van Gundy for example also takes responsiblity
That’s the main reason why I posted the article. Some coaches come out and take responsibility, as they should. Others pass the buck. I find that people who pass the buck tend to be less successful in the long run. It’s a character issue that tells us a great deal about the person.
So you want MDSr to be more like Frank? Or you want Frank to be the Clippers coach?
Kind of a fail position to take either way if you ask me given that the Nets have so far failed to win a single game.
Maybe MDSr is right about this stuff being too complicated for some? Taking responsibility for something doesn’t actually accomplish anything.
But let’s be honest. All of this take responsibility stuff and fans are dumb stuff is just so much fake outrage. It can’t be real outrage because they would be exceedingly dumb things to actually get upset about. Its like Rules for Radicals as understood by someone who doesn’t read good.
Coaches don't matter. - Bill Simmons, The Book of Basketball
Taking responsibility.
I remember Dunlaevy talkling about him losing without his players and etc. I feel like Dunleavy needs to say part of this was my fault. I overplayed Baron in the third and beginning of the fourth. The isolation plays to Dunleavy doesn’t always work and we’re developing a strategy..etcetc. But instead, he lost without his players. Yeah that’s right. In other words, his players failed him! Can Dunleavy please take any of the blame???
Warriors just beat Dallas with SIX PLAYERS!
NO more excuses for dunleavy!
John R here insulting people again, It's true, he is related to Dunleavy - same
character traits. By the way, it’s read “well” not read “good.”

I keep waiting for hin to respond, to defend himself and his positions. Seems
he likes to insult and leave. Great style.

I dunno
I think back to last years team and I believe we only had 19 wins because are bench was so depleted. If Kaman was healthy the whole season, instead of going down when the ZBO trade went down, i think we would have been a .500 team or better. But then we wouldn’t have Blake. I think Dunleavy has put us in a good position to win games, and get better through free agency. I think we would have pulled off the win at Phoenix earlier in the year had Al been in shape. A lot of variables here, but to fire the coach at this point in time, I dont think its a good idea.
If you think he's a good coach, then you're right
But for some of us, just watching the team play, there seem to be alot of problems. The sub .400 record confirms that.
Of course, we aren’t smart enough to really know what’s going on like MDSr clearly is so . . .
