Here we go.. another loss??

'Cause how you play, is how you'll be remembered. PLAY LOUD!

So far so good. Everyone's making their shots.

But then again, how many great 1st quarters have we’ve had only to lose in the end.

by Stitch626 on Nov 27, 2009 5:23 PM PST reply actions

Looking good so far!

Unfortunately, with the Clippers that’s not saying much. Even so, go Clippers!

by edk3 on Nov 27, 2009 5:23 PM PST reply actions

I don't know why..

but I think Craig Smith will have a monster game

If Camby didn't control the fast break..

we’d be up by 4

dang nba league pass

i miss Milphy, I’m stuck with the Detroit Fox Sports feed.

by chrisd on Nov 27, 2009 5:59 PM PST reply actions

getting killed on the boards

They already have 8 offensive boards, ridiculous.

This team is a joke if they’re going to play this poorly against teams hurting from injuries more than we are.

by dulciusEXasperis on Nov 27, 2009 6:10 PM PST reply actions

Gordon still isn't back to his old self.

1 for 6 so far. Guess it may take another game for him to re-adjust. Clippers need him back now.

by Stitch626 on Nov 27, 2009 6:12 PM PST reply actions

Yea but

Gordon better suck it up and start playing well. If he wants to be a super star, he should be able to get out of this slump fast. He should go to his go to move ie driving and getting FTs. And make them of course.

My reason for being a Clippers fan sucks...

I went to the same school as Shaun Livingston and pledged my allegiance to the Clippers the day he was drafted…. glad to see that panned out…

i should, but after he shipped out i stuck with the Clippers…. because I am an idiot… it seemed like a cop out to abandon the Clippers, as EVERYBODY gives up on them… I didn’t wanna be the guy to quit on the Clips, and here we all are

Nothing ever pans out for the Clippers...

…the worst team in all of professional sports!

I hate to have to admit this, since believe it or not, I’m a Clipper fan.

I heard that Sterling said in so many words that he would fire Dumb loony if he fails to win with “his players!”

by saxmanager on Nov 27, 2009 6:17 PM PST reply actions

the detroit announcers keep commenting on their players hearts

and how they are playing with so much fire and determination and how none of them are quitters. the clips on the other hand…

by chrisd on Nov 27, 2009 6:27 PM PST reply actions

Detroit is a terrible team, and playing without Prince, Hamilton, and Ben Gordon.

If we lose this game (I’d say there is about a 95% chance), I don’t ever want to hear an injury excuse again.

I've got nothing.

by bc56274 on Nov 27, 2009 6:31 PM PST reply actions

shouldn't even be trying to catch them through 3 quarters lol

This game is already a disappointment whether we win or lose. You want to be a contending team, you wipe the floor with teams with injuries like this and the Pacers.

We can’t even grab a rebound, and that’s only one of our problems.

by dulciusEXasperis on Nov 27, 2009 6:40 PM PST up reply actions

This team is just sad.. LOL

I'd say about even...

They’re both games that the Clippers should win easily

by CLiPPz WeRD 12 on Nov 27, 2009 6:40 PM PST up reply actions

There are no games we should win easily.

It’s time for us to come to the realization that the Clippers just suck.

I've got nothing.

by dulciusEXasperis on Nov 27, 2009 6:51 PM PST up reply actions

Well, I assume that’s because being Clippers broadcasters, they’re gearing the broadcast towards Clippers fans. Clippers fans know full well about the teams problems and issues, assuming they regularly watch the broadcasts. However, its less likely that the audience tuning in knows a lot about the opposing team, hence the need to talk about what their problems and issues are.

is this acceptable for a professional team? How do they go game after game with this lack of rebounding? WTF are they doing in practice.

We running those 2000 plays all practice long that they forget the basic fundamentals of basketball?

WHY DID BUTLER START!?

I feel that Butler plays better off the bench and Gordon is better as a starter. I know Gordon is coming off an injury, but he is no doubt a starter.

Fox Sports West used the Fox Sports Detroit feed, which in turn used the Palace in-house video feed. All the Fox Sports networks use the same master control (out of Houston, in fact), so that’s how they were able to salvage the video coverage for those watching here and in Detroit.

Check out this tweet from Lisa Dillman. Funny.

Smack talk from behind the bench/press row cranking up in 3Q. Fan yelling at Dunleavy: “The Lions make you look good!” Now that’s cold.

by Sam50 on Nov 27, 2009 7:36 PM PST up reply actions

That is an overstatement

last time I checked we didn’t lose 48 games in a row

In Gordon we trust

by bestclipfan on Nov 27, 2009 7:50 PM PST up reply actions

Ok lets say currently the worst. That actually isn’t an overstatement.

by Sam50 on Nov 28, 2009 5:03 AM PST up reply actions

a win is a win but....

its really a game we should’ve won without Rip Hamilton, Prince, and Gordon. But I’ll take it.

by clipFanInSD on Nov 27, 2009 7:41 PM PST up reply actions

Thorton gets 12 in the 4th...

while Austin Daye & Jonas Jorkmanwhatshisname both have career high scoring nights for the Pistons and Ben Wallace has 10 OFFENSIVE rebounds. A win is a win and I’ll take it.

by chrisd on Nov 27, 2009 7:42 PM PST reply actions

Very nice road win

I know the Pistons haev lost 6 straight, but that in itself should mean something. No team wants to continue a losing streak, so for the Clippers to get a win on the Pistons home-court is good. I thought BD had a great game, as did Kaman. Butler gave the Clipeprs nothing and he was even worse of the defensive end. I hope Gordon starts vs. the Grizzlies, b/c he can keep Mayo from getting to a great start.

by NBAFAN8 on Nov 27, 2009 7:43 PM PST reply actions

there was a fire in the fox sports central van

the game went back on in the final 2 minutes on a different camera with only one mic left for the announcers who flipped a coin to see who would call the rest of the game. The Detroit announcers said this all, it was in their van, oh Detroit, are the car makers out rioting tonight?

by chrisd on Nov 27, 2009 7:43 PM PST reply actions

clippers shot 59% to overcame 19 O rebounds

by edu_argentina on Nov 27, 2009 7:47 PM PST up reply actions

pistons 91

by edu_argentina on Nov 27, 2009 7:49 PM PST up reply actions

we should have lost by 20 with numbers like that

but at least we executed in the 4th quarter even when the electricity wasn’t executing

In Gordon we trust

by bestclipfan on Nov 27, 2009 7:52 PM PST up reply actions

I would think 4 out of 6

This team is going to string together some wins. I would like to see Baron, EJ, AT, and Kaman all hitting at once.

by NBAFAN8 on Nov 27, 2009 7:48 PM PST up reply actions

The Clippers don't have a 4th Quarter Meltdown

While the TV Channel does

"Where would the Clippers be without Sean Rooks?"

by Regulan on Nov 27, 2009 7:55 PM PST reply actions

Ralph is the Clipper Curse!

When he gets suspended, the Clippers play their best game of the year against Denver. When the power goes out in the 4th period against the Pistons, the Clips jump out in front and don’t look back.

Think about that………

by Jerdog on Nov 27, 2009 8:13 PM PST reply actions

no he is just an eternal optimist

although he needs to get the memo that every time he says the clips are going to pull away something bad happens.
