cant say that i agree that Brandon Jennings is better than EJ
I think Jennings has lost some of the aura he once had when he first burst onto the scene. I notice his stats are starting to come back to earth also. Other than that, Im glad to see EJ get some recognition.
This guy gets it...
Gordon ahead of Westbrook, ahead of Mayo… that’s all I ask.
Jennings will come back to earth (already has started in fact). The truth is, you can’t judge a player on their first trip thru the league – if you’re not on the scouting report, then a big game is less impressive. It’s the second and third time you see teams that show what you can do. That’s a big reason why I was so certain that Gordon was better than Mayo – Mayo started strong, but struggled later. Gordon just got better and better the more he played. The NBA figured out Mayo – but Gordon figured out the NBA. We don’t know how that will go with Jennings – not yet.
In this world, you must be oh so smart or oh so pleasant. Well, for years I was smart. I recommend pleasant. - Elwood P. Dowd

I like that. Well put.

This is a very fair placement of Gordon
like SP said as long as the have him ahead of OJ and Westbrook then the they got him in the right spot in his sophomore class. If Gordon keeps up his play then it won’t be long before people start realizing just how good he is.
In Gordon we trust
Even Grizzly fans agree...
I drifted over to the Griz site (http://www.straightouttavancouver.com/) yesterday. If you scan down to the thread about the Clipper game you’ll see a poll about who’s better, Mayo or Gordon… it’s Gordon by almost 3:1. Griz got beat down by Utah last night. Grim over there. Better to be here.
That probably has a little bit to do with
Gordon going off against Memphis and Mayo getting completely shut down by Gordon again.
Not saying that Memphis fans wouldn’t come to the same conclusion a week or two from now, but posting that poll with pretty fresh wounds may not be indicative of true feelings.
Needless to say, I firmly agree that Gordon is better (though I’m bias to be sure.) At the end of the game, I had no fear that Mayo would score when Memphis needed to and had complete confidence in Gordon shutting him down. BTW, this is yet another blemish for Rasual Butler, as Mayo torched Butler when Gordon was out.

Not true.
Their moderator feels almost the same way. Not to say your wrong, but djturlteface (their fearless leader) says that Gordon seems to franchise and Mayo is just a scorer.
Mayo always seemed overrated at USC
I’m not the only one to think so, either. I watched him a few games in a row, and he never made me say “wow.”
Not the way the Westbrook sometimes did, and I’m no big fan of his either.
