ESPN is reporting Scola is out because of the cut he has on his eye. Normally, when the opposing team loses an important cog, we'd breathe a sigh of relief. But this is the Clippers, and lesson learned from a Granger-less Pacer team. My concern for Wednesday's game means extended minutes for Carl Landry, oh he of the undersized-power forward variety that killed us last year. Think the Paul Millsaps, the Craig Smiths, etc. Now this is a different team than last year, and we have momentum on our side. Here's hoping we can still beat the Rockets.
For the record, I am still geeked following the MEM win, and am more than impressed with the team's recent play. I'm higher on the Clippers than I've been all season, though I admit a few down points, Club Optimism returns.
