Celtics hang on to top Timberwolves, 92-90.

I know this doesn't mean much but I felt I had to point this game out after so many people here were getting down on the Clippers for barely beating Minny.  I find it astounding that these players, many of them borderline NBA talent at best, were able to hang with the team that has been bulldozing the league.  Makes me feel a bit better about Monday's win.

Let's get this W on Friday...

Yeah...

I commented on this on the other thread. There are several factors that made this a better win for the Celtics. Namely, the C’s were on the road, they were also coming off a back to back though we had a right to be tired as well in our game against them, but the Celtics almost certainly overlooked the Wolves until mid-way through the game they realized they better dig in to get the W.

With the salary cap right now the way it is, and it being early with no real game changing injuries so far, there are no easy wins in the NBA right now. It’s not gonna be easy for the Clips, even with the favorable November schedule.

Kevin martin just got injured

hairline fracture in his wrist. and to add insult to injury, Nocioni is being suspended for a DUI. A bad team just got worse

Rambis?

Do we give Rambis some credit? The talent level sure doesn’t seem good, but they’re in games.

Definitely

Early returns on Rambis look pretty good, and why shouldn’t they be? He’s been over-due for a gig for years, got tired of waiting for the dream job and is probably somewhat over-qualified for his 1st head coaching gig.

Agreed

He is doing a solid job so far handling the team; managing rotations and scenarios very well.

I think people are underestimating Minny, they got Heart and a Good Coaching Staff,

besides Rambis they got Theus and Laimbeer as assistaint coaches.

Oleksiy Pecherov and Flynn are pretty good players too.

"they got Heart"

they also have Jason Hart

…not sure if that means anything though. haha.

Hmmm....

If we were 5-0 going into the T-Wolves game, and we won it by 2 points, then I’d feel a bit better about Monday’s game. Other than Kaman’s play, this team has shown me nothing to get excited about.

'Cause how you play, is how you'll be remembered. PLAY LOUD!

maybe Celtics have trouble with lower teams?

the 19 win Clippers have 19 and not 18 because of the Celtics.
