Trade Idea: Camby + fillers for T-Mac (3 Team Trade)

Hey guys,

I posted this on another blog, but I wanted to see what you guys think of it.  It's a 3-team trade (Clippers, Rockets Wizards) that gets us T-Mac.  Anyway, let me know what you guys think...

- Houston gets a really good rental big man (their current Center is 6'6"), a decent backup PG, and they still get a quality SG/SF in return for T-Mac.

- Washington gets a veteran guard to start over Nick Young (Rasual Butler - arguably, Mike Miller fits this role already, but he's injured), and a little extra depth on the bench.

- Clippers get two quality backup PGs (Crittenton can be a backup SG, at 6'5"), and a major upgrade at SF.

I realize this leaves us with some holes in the lineup, but to me it seems like a move needs to be made.  Camby, Ricky, Butler, and Collins (and probably Telfair) aren't really in the long term plans, so if they could pull a trade like this, I think it would be worth it to take a shot at T-Mac (who is currently voted in as a starter of the All Star game, without playing a single game this season - This would be good for you Donald Sterling) for a season.  It's only one season, and he is a major upgrade over Thornton, at SF:

Kaman - Jordan - Skinner

Griffin - Smith - Novak

T-Mac - Thornton - (Korolev LOL)

Gordon - Crittenton - Rush (replace with Rashad McCants, Gerald Green, or Jerry Stackhouse)

Baron - Lowry
