Griffin's Projected Stats?
This is just purely speaking from a fantasy sports angle: With Griffin's debut coming up in the horizon, what kind of stats do you think he will have this year?
I'm thinking maybe 12 pts, 6.5 rebs, 1.5 stl, 1 blk, 45% fg, 70% ft?
Curious as to what the rest of you expect from him. I'm guess he won't be putting up too many points, because 1) his offensive game can still use some polishing, and 2) the team has quite a few scoring options on offense (Kaman, Baron, Gordon, Thornton, etc...). Rebound numbers may be depressed a little as well due to board-gobblers Camby and Kaman.
But we've heard a lot about his intensity on the court, so that's why perhaps he'll give us some hustle stats, like steals and blocks.
What do you think?

Hmm
I think he’ll get about 30 minutes per game and should average 13 pts 8 rebounds 2 ast with 1 steal 1 block per game. I think his FG% will be over 50% but his FT% will be be in the 60s.
FA in 2010.
It all depends on the minutes he gets
At around 25 Mins (in the beginning), I’d give him…
12.5 ppg, 7.4 rpg, 1.8 apg, 1.3 spg, 0.5 bpg, 51% FG, 62% FT
He’s minutes will progress as the season goes on, so it all depends on how things are going record-wise and health-wise for the rest of the bigs.
Supposedly Dunleavy told
Heisner or whatever his name is at theLA Times that Griffin will definitely be back in early Jan. but with our luck you might be right and he could never play.
In Gordon we trust

With the amount of time we've been waiting
Better be 30 ppg, 15 rebounds, 10 blocks, and a per of +100
Eventhough I'm a big time Kings fan...
…and have been spoiled with Evans, I have been pretty anxious to see Griffin play. With that being said, didn’t Oden get the same injury and is expected to be out the rest of the season?

Oden broke his patella in half and could not walk on it.
Blake had a stress fracture of his patella and was able to put weight on it.
Same bone, but different extent of injuries.

gotcha
I’m interested in where HVY got his info from…can’t make that bold of a statement without proof

Hate to say it but it looks like the Clippers are going to hold Blake out for this season.
So MDsr. keeps his job and Blake can start fresh 2010-11.
I hope I am wrong.
Everything starts out New, Gets Old and Dies or is Destroyed.
where'd that come from?
link?

My opinion, no proof needed just time.
Everything starts out New, Gets Old and Dies or is Destroyed.
Blake won't be able to get off the bench...
He’s behind BSkinnz on the depth chart and considering the fact that Brian will soon emerge as a superstar, I don’t see Blake getting much time, healthy or not.
Yay yay.
I know it's all guess work,
but your projections seem about right to me, provided he’s ready to play sometime in January 2010. Although those stats would be a little below expectations, it will translate into a higher winning percentage for the team because of the intangibles he will bring (hustle, energy, quickness, home crowd enthusiasm, more rest for Camby, etc.).
