Heh.

That’ll help with the Clippers inability to score.

Right?

by Michael White on Dec 14, 2009 8:02 PM PST up reply actions

Who knows

I’m just being whiny. I don’t really care, might as well give Mardy some minutes. What’s the worst that can happen :\

by Michael White on Dec 14, 2009 8:04 PM PST up reply actions

he deserves a chance lol

not like Ricky or Butler are doing much better

by dulciusEXasperis on Dec 14, 2009 8:04 PM PST up reply actions

Well, they're trying different things

That last pick and roll almost worked. How about EJ’s left handed hook?!?

by SilverClip on Dec 14, 2009 8:09 PM PST reply actions

Butler takes the charge

He’s doing some other things well, I suppose

by SilverClip on Dec 14, 2009 8:12 PM PST reply actions

Nothing

Just saying that an in-game interview of Griffin was fine the first time, now it just reminds me that he’s done more of these than play games this season

by Michael White on Dec 14, 2009 8:18 PM PST up reply actions

This is amazing...

Skinner is playing—and playing well. At the end of the second quarter I actually found myself hoping they brought Skinner back because I thought the team would actually play better with him out there. That was crazy…
Skinner will eat Brendan Haywood if they match up in the second half, no way that wannabe can bang with Brian.
Also, good to Casual like Rasual make some shots. He is not as good as we thought he was to start the season, but he can’t possibly be as bad as we all think he is now.

Yay yay.

by KamanHomie on Dec 14, 2009 8:47 PM PST reply actions

Let's see more Skinner.

And yeah, Butler needs to stop believing what people are saying about him

by SilverClip on Dec 14, 2009 8:54 PM PST up reply actions

I wanna see

some DJ

"Where would the Clippers be without Sean Rooks?"

by Regulan on Dec 14, 2009 8:53 PM PST reply actions

I wanna see

Dunleavy suit up and sub himself him, then maybe he’ll be able to communicate his plays better. I can just picture this slightly creepy looking bald dude in a 1977 Philadelphia 76’ers uniform running all over the court shouting shit at Marcus Camby, jacking up killer 3’s from half court and running in for old school layups.

by LancasterGordon4Eva on Dec 14, 2009 8:57 PM PST up reply actions

every half time interview

-we gave them too many opportunity
-they’re athletic guys
-we gatta improve on our shooting
-we gatta play defense

EVERY FRIGGGIN TIME!!!!

by highriser on Dec 14, 2009 8:54 PM PST reply actions

Guys, relax.

Everything will be fine when we sign Lebron James next season.

I've got nothing.

by bc56274 on Dec 14, 2009 8:55 PM PST reply actions

yay!

mdsr continues to put make us believe signing his 6yr project player was a good idea…forget the young hotshot 20 yr old…feed kaman!

Yep

21 pts, 11 rebs is pretty bad.

by NBAFAN8 on Dec 14, 2009 11:12 PM PST up reply actions

oh god f**k this team

seriously, how can we be watching this garbage. Brutal, brutal stuff.

by dulciusEXasperis on Dec 14, 2009 9:06 PM PST reply actions

shame on you!

They freaking won the game. If you want every win to be a blowout, then go watch the Lakers boring games.

by NBAFAN8 on Dec 14, 2009 11:11 PM PST up reply actions

alright...

I’m re-gifting something at tomorrow’s white elephant gift exchange, so i gotta get to wrapping…if they come back, i’ll be back on…

by Lawler's Law on Dec 14, 2009 9:12 PM PST reply actions

just turned on the tv...looks like i didn't miss anything...

another blow out loss….to the wizards…..its getting harder and harder to watch clippers games…i seem to care less and less when the games are on and sometimes dont remember when the next game is…

by whyamiaclippersfan on Dec 14, 2009 9:12 PM PST reply actions

Well then....

you missed a great win for the Clippers and a great game by both Eric Gordon and Chris Kaman.

by NBAFAN8 on Dec 14, 2009 11:10 PM PST up reply actions

Wizards aren't good

Note to Clips: Pick your asses up and start coming back

by SilverClip on Dec 14, 2009 9:13 PM PST reply actions

BD and EJ back in

and we’re still in it. Whew.

by SilverClip on Dec 14, 2009 9:37 PM PST reply actions

Washington should go for the OT

by Natedog1977 on Dec 14, 2009 10:07 PM PST reply actions

When did they show her?

I missed the first half but I have it recorded. Also does anyone know if they interviewed Cassell I would like to know how he is doing as a coach, it would be cool if one day he came back and coached the clippers.

In Gordon we trust

lol, my stream went out just at the steal.

by Fan of the Game on Dec 14, 2009 10:08 PM PST reply actions

Boykins just threw it away, and stoled by Flash Gordon

by Natedog1977 on Dec 14, 2009 10:09 PM PST reply actions

Now I'm not sure what I saw

Did EJ knock it loose, or did Boykins fumble it? They should show it again.

by SilverClip on Dec 14, 2009 10:18 PM PST up reply actions

yeah we WON

for once we didn’t collapse in the end (well we kind of did but we still won)

In Gordon we trust

by bestclipfan on Dec 14, 2009 10:09 PM PST reply actions

We showed some composure

A couple of semi-tight plays at the end

by SilverClip on Dec 14, 2009 10:14 PM PST up reply actions

Gordon again?

Wow. He’s becoming the superstar.

by RockyMountain on Dec 14, 2009 10:09 PM PST reply actions

Yes sir

10-15 from the floor for 29 points. He also had 5 steals. Great game for EJ!

by NBAFAN8 on Dec 14, 2009 11:05 PM PST up reply actions

Btw, Clipper fans should consider themselves lucky

Gordon is such a talent. In my mind, he never makes a bad decision. He may turn the ball over here and there, or he might shoot an air ball, but he is always thinking. I have never seen a player that is so aware of everything that is going on the floor. He is a true talent and we should consider ourselves lucky to have him.

by NBAFAN8 on Dec 14, 2009 11:20 PM PST up reply actions

hahahaaha now my feed comes back!

I think the feed was trying to save me from heartache if the wizards shot a 3 and made it!

by figgifig on Dec 14, 2009 10:10 PM PST reply actions

it helps when the other team isn’t as clutch, wizs have lost in a ton of heart breakers already

by Fan of the Game on Dec 14, 2009 10:12 PM PST reply actions

BSkinnz and Kaman

That was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. I love everyone and everything.

Yay yay.

by KamanHomie on Dec 14, 2009 10:20 PM PST reply actions

PLAY SKINNZ!!!

The dude knows what he knows and does what he does.

by SilverClip on Dec 14, 2009 10:23 PM PST up reply actions

BSkinnz is definitely a professional...

I’m not sure if we can expect Brian to grab every rebound like he did tonight, but that was great to see. After tonight, he should definitely get some minutes when the team is lacking energy. Hopefully he continues to come through. Brian Skinner will eat me and my small doubts.

Yay yay.

by KamanHomie on Dec 15, 2009 12:36 AM PST up reply actions

I knew you would like this game

but Kaman is not helping his tough guy image by helping help people on the other team when they fall down

In Gordon we trust

by bestclipfan on Dec 14, 2009 10:25 PM PST up reply actions

that was tremendous, and thanks the the thought :)

Kaman is above everything else a lover, and a fantastic one at that. And I think that kind heart shines through even in the darkest of fourth quarters and blowouts.

Yay yay.

by KamanHomie on Dec 15, 2009 12:41 AM PST up reply actions

Sool interview

He looks BUMMED. I think something really did go down betw him and BD

by SilverClip on Dec 14, 2009 10:22 PM PST reply actions

they will get over it

Baron was mad because he Arenas are real good friends and now he has to apologize to him

In Gordon we trust

by bestclipfan on Dec 14, 2009 10:25 PM PST up reply actions

they should get over

theyre grown men who should understand the circumstances…

by Final692 on Dec 14, 2009 10:57 PM PST up reply actions

skinner’s presence was known, he got lots of good boards

by Fan of the Game on Dec 14, 2009 11:02 PM PST reply actions

Rasual showed up to the game tonight!

I hope thats a sign for whats to come. We could really use that offense off the bench.

by big0lbad on Dec 14, 2009 11:12 PM PST reply actions

Rasual is the blackhole of basketball...

There are guys who are the blackhole of basketball, but they have the offensive talents to back it up; e.g. Dominique Wilkins. Rasual is not one of them. Any shot he makes is fool’s gold. He needs to move the ball if he’s not wide open for a spot up jumper, not try to beat his man off the dribble and try to pull off an awkward fade away. For tonight, he had one of his better shooting night, under 50% at 6/13 but good for him…as he’s only shooting 35% for the year. Contrast that with Gordon and the drop-off is huge. Al is a better defensive and offensive player than Rasual right now. Watch how often the ball swings to Butler and the shot goes up almost 70% of the time.

by MichaelCage on Dec 14, 2009 11:40 PM PST up reply actions

When a team goes down by 13, its very easy to quit

but they stepped up and came through with a win. Ill take it!

by big0lbad on Dec 14, 2009 11:13 PM PST reply actions

Exactly!

The Clippers could have easily gave up, but they didn’t. They continued to force the basketball into the paint and get to the foul line. I thought the Clippers played a good game, but after reading this thread many people gave up when it was only a 10-11 point lead.

by NBAFAN8 on Dec 14, 2009 11:16 PM PST up reply actions

yea so many doom and gloom post on this blog

im sick of it. i dont understand why they follow the team. if they want perfection. go to the Fakers blog

by big0lbad on Dec 14, 2009 11:20 PM PST reply actions

I agree 100%

I hear so many people complaining about the Clippers coach, players, defense, shooting, turnovers, fans, the list goes on. If you want perfection that will bore you to death go root for the Lakers.

by NBAFAN8 on Dec 14, 2009 11:23 PM PST up reply actions

I wouldn't say the Lakers play perfect

they just lost to Utah by ten

In Gordon we trust

by bestclipfan on Dec 14, 2009 11:25 PM PST up reply actions

Haha

I am not saying they play perfect, but I will say that they portray their franchise as the perfect organization. If you talk to a Laker fan they will tell you your team and players suck and that every player at every position on the Lakers is god sent.

by NBAFAN8 on Dec 14, 2009 11:27 PM PST up reply actions

and btw why are you defending the Lakers?

also, I watched every second of that Jazz Lakers game. D-Will is my favorite point gaurd. If only the Clipeprs had a point god like Deron Williams.

by NBAFAN8 on Dec 14, 2009 11:29 PM PST up reply actions

I am not defending them

I thought I was insulting them :)

In Gordon we trust

by bestclipfan on Dec 15, 2009 7:12 AM PST up reply actions

Not Doom and Gloom...

But realism and discerning fans. We’re not going to be mindless cheerleaders and root for a team when they play selfishly or give no effort. I’ve been a Clippers fan for twenty years. And there have been alot of bad years, many more bad years than good ones during that time. There were years when we had very little NBA level talent with the exception of one or two players who played their butts off every night. You give me that and I can respect it. I won’t like the losing, but I will respect the effort, energy, and basketball IQ. You want mindless cheerleading, you’re in the wrong place, kids. You can go to the Fakers blog for that.

by MichaelCage on Dec 14, 2009 11:30 PM PST up reply actions

+1,000

New school kids just don’t understand old school cats.

Most old school fans became fans during the bad days and all we had to resort to was looking at effort.

That is why we scrutinize it so much.

by Newtybar on Dec 15, 2009 9:13 AM PST up reply actions

I will never understand Dunleavy's substitutions...

Good thing that Arenas didn’t make that 3 at the end of the half and Young (I think?) didn’t make the 3 toward the end of the game, because this would’ve been another loss.. Anyway, nice to get a win headin’ for the road.

"look, you can find any coach you want, bring him in here and run the situation. But I don't think they are going to do as good a job as I do." -Mike Dunleavy Sr.
