Roger Sterling: To my knees, Don. They're bringing to my knees!"
not delays tech. difficulties
they had some problems with the clock and score board.
In Gordon we trust
Here's to hoping that this team plays like this for the rest of the season!

This is so much fun
Time for the Clips to hit the gas and push it to 30
EJ only has 3 shots
but 9 points
He still needs to take more shots though
"Where would the Clippers be without Sean Rooks?"
I'm on a diff. computer so I can't link it. It's MyP2P.eu, just click on live sports, then

Thornton being a legit Starter/sixth man
It was pure skill how he was able to maintain the lead with the second unit that is what we need.
Clippz need to continue to push the ball

The Knicks aren't good
We just have to regain our shooting touch
He was doing this in the 1st half, but he didnt get any touches in the 2nd half
The Clippers just didnt move the ball in the second and everytime Gordon came off a screen Duhon had him by his jersey.
Why does it look like it's hard to score?
Is it because of Knicks defense and our stagnant offense, or a combination of both?
not good ball movement by the clips
and Kaman is still being doubled bt not finding the open guy

I'd say a combination
They’re swarming us. They’re bound to get tired.
We’re NOT tired. We should swarm them.

"look, you can find any coach you want, bring him in here and run the situation. But I don't think they are going to do as good a job as I do." -Mike Dunleavy Sr.
Gordon is playing like crap
he isn’t even trying he let Duhon walk past him
It was Kaman on the pick and rolls
Kaman was not hedging at all allowing either Duhon to utilize the screen for a dribble penetration play or Lee to roll with no interior defense.
We need a couple EJ 3 balls
"look, you can find any coach you want, bring him in here and run the situation. But I don't think they are going to do as good a job as I do." -Mike Dunleavy Sr.
Good call by the refs on that 8

What’s the freakin’ deal with the “get it to Kaman” strategy, I saw it rear its head in the 4th… followed by a bunch of misses. It just doesn’t work, why keep doing it?

Two things, no three....
1. The Clippers did not share the basketball in the second half. Instead, they went to iso plays for Kaman, Baron, and Thornton.
2. Why or how does EJ only get 8 shots in a game that he plays 40 minutes?
3. How was AT’s drive with like 15 seconds left a charge? He was tripped and never put his upper body into Gallinari.
This game started out great. The Clippers were sharing the ball. They were playing great defense. They were getting to the foul line.
The 3rd was a very bad quarter
The starters were left in all 12 minutes and they did not move the ball. I dont get why there wasnt a TO called or a sub.
i still have faith..........but...........im losing it
by In GrIfFin We TrUsT on Dec 18, 2009 7:52 PM PST reply actions
It is only one game
It’s not like they played a bad game. There are many positives out of this game. The KNicks just wanted it more and the Clippers thought they had it.
NBAfan how is that not a bad game
if the other team wanted more than you.
Well the Clippers did.....
Score 58 points in the first half
Clippers shot 20-24 free throws for 83% (Gordon was 9-10)
The Clippers retook the lead after being down by 4 in the 4th quarter.
I understand that it sucks that they lost, but there are positives and they did have a chance to win.
Too early for that type of talk
The NBA standings this time of year are not that important. I am positive that NBA teams, whether they are in 1st or 11th dont care this time of year. Ask them at the end of Feb or March and then they might be able to tell you. Just like in baseball, teams dont start looking at the scoreboards until after the all-star break.
- got out scored I believe 55-35/ EG had almost 4 TO’s late in the 4th and played with no effort while guarding Duhon/ Clippers also loss the lead in the 4th. The Negatives outway the positives in this case that what usually happens in a loss.
If you want to know what the biggest negative was in this game look at the assists for the Clippers.
The Clippers had 13 assists! That is a season low. I guarantee you that. Infact I would go out on a limb and say they havent had less than 20 all year.
To another poster this wasn't a wake up call game
We gave up a larger lead in the same fashion to the Raptors if you didn’t learn then you haven’t learned at all. Even Dunleavy was trrying to tell them to stay focused at the half.
Hmmm...well no ball movement, and no defense.
Also, the Clippers only had 13 assists in the game. They average 22 assists per game wich is 13th in the NBA.
When he lost the ball in the 4th on a fast break with Butler he almost had a TO. When he tried to give a entry pass to Kaman he had a TO. When he tried to attack the basket in the third and lost control he had a TO. there was another I think late in the 4th as well
wasn't a remember he did it late in the 4th lol
Rasual was right next to him and he fumbled the ball he almost lost it out of bound but he retained it and the team had to reset
Hahahaha
So are you telling me they should have a stat for “almost”? So how exactly do we record “almost” plays?
Almost has never won or lost a game
I don’t know where you are coming from with this “almost” statistic.
Almost had the 4th wasn’t the point the point was the play where he almost had the 4th one was a key fast break that would have helped with momentum to get a easy bucket.
There are so many plays in a basketball game
You cant single out one play and say taht was the game.
How can you single out just that one play?
So what are you saying? Are you saying that if Gordon would have throwed down a one-handed monster jam on that play the Clipper would have won?
A play that changes momentum yes!!
If Gordon can flush it or pass it to Butler for a jam both go down the court playing harder on D.
I understand that, but it does not make a difference in a win or lose in this game.
Can you tell me what exactly happened after he fumbled the pass and it went to Butler?
this sucks man......how did we lose.....to a 7 man rotation team who played back to back
by In GrIfFin We TrUsT on Dec 18, 2009 8:28 PM PST reply actions
13 assists? man, deja vu.......we'll b fine...... we'll re-cooperate and do things business as usual tomorrow
by In GrIfFin We TrUsT on Dec 18, 2009 8:32 PM PST reply actions
I agree :-D
I look for Camby and Gordon to have great games on saturday. I would think Gordon would get more than 8 shots!
happened 55. mark in the 4th
Baron had to take the rushed 3 that he made at the .36 mark. and my mistake is was Thornton with him on the break not Rasual. Now think if Gordon gets the easy bucket we have more time to set in on the other end when they come back with the Harrington shot
Wait! Wait! Wait!
So let me get this straight, Baron made the 3 that put the Clippers up by 1 on the play when EJ fumbled the basketball, right?
So wouldn’t that three be more of a momentum changer than a game tying dunk would have been?
Anyways, the Clipper just didn’t move the ball or get enough posessions to compete with the Knicks in teh second half. 72 shots from teh field wont win any game nor will 13 assists.
It's games like these that help remind me that we are, and will always be, the Clippers.
I've got nothing.
Hey, now that's the spirit!
These are the games that make the Clipeprs who they are. Atleast they didnt end up losing by double figures. This game could have easily went to the Clippers. I thought the charge on AT was very questionable and the tip in by Lee was such luck.
Time was what we needed
we had to take a rushed lucky shot what is the number one problem with the Clippers Ralph and Mike say it every game that they can’t get easy buckets. Baron giving us a far out 3 didn’t remind the team that they could get easy buckets. Dunleavy mentioned how the team couldn’t get the offense flowing he said we almost fluked a win. Easy buckets>lucky buckets
It is all on Baron and Kaman that we get those type of posessions
Kaman takes forver to get position on the block and Baron takes forever to get teh ball to teh wing or dribble to teh wing to make the entry pass. I have never seen a player dribble the ball as much a BD.
i should b out drunk somewhere off sadness.....instead im here chatting with fellow clipper mates and watching vampire diaries....please...no questions...lol

You aren’t married and you dont have a girl friend. My bad, lol. Yah, it would have been a better night if the Clippers would have won :-)

That sucks bro
Anyways, have yourself a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Years. Don’t forget that family is most important this time of year. I am out……. hopefully saturday vs the Sixers turns out to be a better game for the Clippers.
Baron was running the offense who else could do it Eric? lol
Baron was the one who got the ball out to Eric so he could get the fastbreak bucket when it fell apart. Kaman on the other hand was playing poor he never can fully take advantage of a mis-match I can see when your double teamed passing out but when you have David Lee one on one you do not shoot jumpers you post him and make a move GOING AT THE BASKET!!
I am refering to the entire game
Baron dribbles the he!! out of the ball. He just stands at the top of the key and dribbles and dribbles, and dribbles.
And I would actually like to see EJ play some more point.
He could do it, infact if we get a superstar free agent such as Lebron or Wade, EJ might play the point in the future.
stupid gurl never liked bball....i took her to her first bball game ever where the clips demolished the kings last year towards the end of the year.... i need a bball gf...not a baseball gf

We will tomorrow
we are destined to be 2 games under .500 until Blake is back
Wow! i thought we had this game in the bag up by 20 in the middle of the 2nd...
when i left to deliver presents to needy families…I return to find the ESPN scroll say that NY had won!
Roger Sterling: To my knees, Don. They're bringing to my knees!"
It could have been worse.
This game was supposed to originally air on ESPN. Now, the world didn’t have to see our shame.
The only bright side the game is this:

I dont know how I feel about this...
I love the spirit and high energy, but it was a little too early to celebrate.
