What A Frustrating Loss

Hey Clipsnationers

I should be used to it by now, but they looked great in the first half and just fell a part.  They were triple teaming Kaman.  Couldn't someone get open?  What happened to EJ?  He was falling all over the place and that pass to no one late in the game was a killer.  Still if Rasual makes that good look I wouldn't have thrown my remote across the room.

I remember

EJ struggled last year when they played the Knicks in the Garden.

I think any player in the NBA would struggle if....

They had to play 40 minutes, guard Duhon coming off pick and roll screens every time on defense, and only get 8 shot attempts.

The Clippers did not run many if any plays for EJ tonight. The majority of his points came off free throws which he got by being aggressive and running the court and from attacking the basket. He got two good looks at threes from offensive sets, but everything else was created or forced by bad execution. I really thought the team, as well as the coaches were making an attempt to get him the ball b/c the offense works well when he atleast gets to touch it. Not so much in this game. He served as more of a decoy. One thing that needs to change in order for the offensive sets to work is Baron and his desicion making. He holds the ball way too long and he forces way too many off-balance shots. This team enjoys getting out and running the floor, so let them run!

Regardless of the 8 attempted shots

he still only amde like 1 or 2 of them (too lazy to check it up.) It wasn’t a good night for him, its pretty pointless to defend Gordon. We all already know that he’s an amazing player, he just wasn’t on his game. Happens to every single player in the NBA.
