Elton

Looks old, tired and fat. Well, about 20 lb.s over his LAC weight.
But, I can’t make myself feel sorry for him. Wonder if Baron does?

by laknights on Dec 19, 2009 5:41 PM PST reply actions

I doubt it.

Baron was bitter all of last season after what happened. He wants to get his pay back (at least on the court).

Kaman, 22 minutes at the half?

yikes…especially coming off a back to back. will be interesting to see how he does in the 2nd.

Yes

But Dunleavy overplayed the starters in the first half. He must think the games are 24 minutes long. Problem is they’re 48.

i hate this team. this is almost worse than last year, its all just a tease.

it is, it's torture..

hopes go up, then get pulled down in the 4th

Wow!

Better not be a tease! I’m gonna be even more pissed if the blow this chance in overtime!

by MannyA on Dec 19, 2009 6:56 PM PST via mobile reply actions

wow

Not exactly a confidence builder, but you’ve got to take it.

The hilarious thing was seeing Dunleavy heading off to the locker room. Right after that I was replaying the last shot over about 5 or 6 times, and you just couldn’t tell. When it left his hand, the light was on. But you couldn’t see the light on when it was still in his hand.

Then there’s the fact that the Clips played well in the first half, had a nice lead, and let it get away again.

Yikes!

again, 2 games under .500

any chance we finish 1 game over .500 for the road trip?

by big0lbad on Dec 19, 2009 7:23 PM PST reply actions

Damn

What a roller-coaster. Thornton didn’t have the best stat line but those two buckets down the stretch of regulation were huge. We haven’t had a player able to take the ball to the basket like that when the game’s on the line.

Butler continues a streak of about 5 solid games, but tonight was one of his best. He basically provided the cushion in overtime enabling us to pull it out late.

3 guys came off the bench

And either Kaman or Camby were on the floor the whole game.

This was a shocking steal

This is also the type of game that makes Mike Dunleavy look terrible. The playcalling the lack of direction coming out of the half the previous 4th quarter collapses looking at this game the rotations and lack ofball movement which was met with no response just lookedlike Dunleavy quit after the 76ers went on a run.

with so many people saying this franchise is cursed

its nice to catch a break! maybe i need to go buy a lottery ticket.

WHAT THE????

I watched the game on a stream and saw the last play. They were showing the replay and CLEARLY the ball was off in time, and then the stream lagged. I shut it down knowing the clippers lost. How was that overruled and how did the clips manage to win in OT???

by screweb on Dec 19, 2009 9:59 PM PST reply actions

if you look closely it is touching his index and middle fingers

watch the nba.com replay it shows a still of it and it is clearly still not off.

In Gordon we trust

by bestclipfan on Dec 19, 2009 11:07 PM PST up reply actions

It was ruled "no basket"

after reviewing the shot. Time expires the moment the backboard lights up. When the light came on, the ball was still on his fingertips. Then in overtime, Rasual Butler pretty much put the 76 Sixers away with some impressive shooting.
