Someone explain to me how an initial projection of Griffin's injury to be "six weeks" turn into "two months" and now basically will turn into missing half the season? People can argue it is what it is, blah blah, but haven't we heard this lame broken record before? Remember Kaman last year? How about Baron's "minor" injuries last year? How often does this Clippers strength/conditioning/training staff swing and miss? I don't know the extent of Griffin's injury, but isn't it kind of overkill? First its the whatchamacallit plasma infusion, then anti-gravity treadmill, etc etc. I'm no doctor but someone shed some light if this is the NORM on trying to treat stress fractures! They say this plasma infusion crap will speed up healing....well WTF its almost January and they just CLEARED him to resume basketball-type activities? GEEEEZ!!!!
I think people should stop chanting "Fire Dunleavy" and instead shout "Fire the freakin' conditioning staff!"
