Eric Gordon will play on saturday night

I haven't heard if he is a game-time decision, but that might be b/c I live in Illinois, haha.  I would think 5 days of rest would allow him to play saturday night vs. the Pacers, but with the Clippers training staff you just never know.  If anyone has any news regarding Eric Gordon please post.  I want this win as bad as anybody.  We need this win as the Magic are coming to town on tuesday.

Please let EJ play on saturday :-)

*sigh

false advertisement.

I’m going to be at that game and was hoping if he really was suit up…

I wish I could attend a game :(

I ordered Dishnetwork and bought NBA League Pass, just so I could watch EJ this year. I hope he plays every game the rest of the season. I absolutely love watching him play. He is our best player and when he doesnt play it ruins my night.

Chalk this one up as an L?

Ya… Pacers lost tonight they are hungry for a win and now they see they are facing the hapless Clippers >:0
Oh Boy

by JJClipperfan on Dec 4, 2009 10:42 PM PST reply actions

I hope not

The only way the Pacers beat us tonight is if they are hitting from 3. If they make more than 10 threes then we are sunk. I hope EJ plays, he can atleast contribute from the outside and he plays good defense.

Thanks for reading and posting :-)

You have to understand that living in Illinois there is absolutely zero news media coverage of the L.A. Clippers. I also know absolutely zero ppl from Cali. This is the only way to get people talking about EJ and the Clippers. Hopefully he plays and hopefully the Clips get the win :-)

by NBAFAN8 on Dec 4, 2009 11:47 PM PST up reply actions

I hope you realize

Mike Dunleavy does not call us to tell us EJ is playing. We get the clippers news from Ralph Lawler (hes on facebook), clippers.com and Eric Pincus is pretty good (hoopsworld.com and twitter.com/ericpincus).

You have to understand they have the internet in Illinois.

People, please stop these BS points. We have enough false hope as it here…

Obviously, I have the internet

I just don’t have access to L.A. media. I know the L.A. Times is online and I post on a daily basis on this site, but other than that I have no outlets.

got to google.com/news

and search eric gordon…problem solved

by highriser on Dec 5, 2009 3:18 PM PST up reply actions

This is the problem I have with the L.A. media and national media

Eric Gordon is the Clippers most important player on the team. He leads this team in scoring, he plays great defense, he can get in the lane and finish, and he is the best peremiter shooter. I would think that with all that being said, the media in general would realize how important he is to the Clippers. If players like Kobe, Wade, Mayo, Ben Gordon, or Joe Johnson were injuried there would be more media coverage. I was watching NBATV and they didn’t even mention that Eric Gordon was not playing vs. the Rockets. I just don’t understand this lack of media coverage. I wonder if the media even knows who EJ is. I mean he was left off the All-Star ballot and he isn’t mentioned amongst the leagues best SG, but when you look at his numbers he is in the top 5 in almost every statistical category for shooting guards. I guess he is only 20 years old, so there will be plenty of time for the media to cover him.

Not true...

I actually remember punching in Eric Gordon on the hard copy of the all star ballot last week..

by JackduhSun on Dec 5, 2009 11:04 PM PST up reply actions

I will have to check this out

There was a huge story about he and Kaman not making the ballot.

by NBAFAN8 on Dec 5, 2009 11:09 PM PST up reply actions

Wait a min.

I might’ve just messed up badly. Thinking back to Memphis game, your right. Douche bag mistake again. Gordon was out of the ballots (RAWR!) I had to punch in Chris Paul instead. Sorry for the misleading information. I have yet to turn in my ballots anyways… they always clean up before the fourth quarter.

I wonder if other teams do that too.. have fans punch in like 150 ballots a game…

NBAFAN8 needs a weeklong suspension from posting.

Make this happen, Steve.

Bring down the gauntlet on this guy.

I've got nothing.

Not fair

We invest some time here every day. Sure, not the smartest investment, being a Clippers fan. But this post is too much. Sorry NBAFAN8, worst post of the season, easily.

by edu_argentina on Dec 5, 2009 7:56 AM PST reply actions

C'mon

Give the man a break. Its bad enough the guy is from Illinois rooting for the Clippers, it must be even worse knowing his favorite player (and probably one of the reasons he became a Clippers fan) is potentially out against the Indianna Pacers (practically where he’s from.)

I admit the title should be renamed to “What is Gordon’s game status vs Indianna” or "The “Official” update on Eric Gordon’s injury", but some people are taking an unreasonable amount of this guy/ post.

Worst post of the year? It could easily go to baronycamby’s Thornton/ Dunleavy dispute, or even that one post that involved winning and the Clippers, which resulted to someone talking about the Bulls. It didn’t really have any relevance to the Clippers at all, and left many of us in Clipper Nations wondering what kind of drugs he was on.

Btw, Go Clippers! I hope EJ is good to go! My butt’s in ClipperChuck’s seat tonight! (:

watching bestclipfan explode is just classic. Happens once ever full moon. LOL

by JackduhSun on Dec 5, 2009 11:22 AM PST up reply actions

Yeah I really hated that guy

I am ok with bad writing but come on all caps locks, if he did it once then it would be ok but twice is just plain dumb. But I think the Bullsfan one is worse seeing as he was asking to trade us for Felton even though he had been gone for almost 6 months.

o wrong one

the one where he asks about a trade for Felton is way funnier.

Thanks

Never thought I would get an award for this post, but there is always a best and always a worst. I will take the honor of the “worst post of the season”

Barack Obama is Dead!

If anyone has any news to suggest that this might be true, or perhaps false, then please post.

by SilverClip on Dec 5, 2009 10:54 AM PST reply actions

Good one..

I was gullible enough to actually have to check Yahoo..

Damnit.

by JackduhSun on Dec 5, 2009 11:04 AM PST up reply actions

It is false

One major difference with the media coverage of Barck and the media coverage of the Clippers, or Eric Gordon, as he is the one player that I am most interested in knowing status about. Obama is covered by every media outlet in the United States and many media outlets outside the U.S. The Clippers on the other hand, are not covered by more than maybe 10 media outlets in the world.

by NBAFAN8 on Dec 5, 2009 1:20 PM PST up reply actions

well for one thing

Obama happens to be the president of the United states which is much more important then any sports team so we shouldn’t be getting nearly anywhere close to the coverage he is getting seeing as he kind of controls what happens in the US while a sports team is just a hobby.

In Gordon we trust

Hey, just having a little fun

and perhaps making a little point. I debated including a ;-), but I couldn’t resist the drama.
