Pretty fortunate that the Clippers had a ton of off days this week

gave EJ plenty of time to rest up. It’s been a week since he’s played and he only missed 1 gaem.

That Taiwan commercial is really startin' to bug

Does anyone else’s keep buffering / freezing?

by Natedog1977 on Dec 5, 2009 7:51 PM PST reply actions

Buffered once earlier

Then a little bit of lag. Now all smooth

by RockyMountain on Dec 5, 2009 7:52 PM PST up reply actions

Yeah mine is fine.

by Sam50 on Dec 5, 2009 7:53 PM PST up reply actions

The only thing cooler than having one Dunleavy on the court is having two.

by Sam50 on Dec 5, 2009 7:52 PM PST up reply actions

Yea

It feels like he’s pushing it too much.

by RockyMountain on Dec 5, 2009 7:57 PM PST up reply actions

He's fine

he’s getting to the rack. Don’t worry about him.

by Michael White on Dec 5, 2009 7:58 PM PST up reply actions

Was awsome. Camby is going to have one of those games I think

by Sam50 on Dec 5, 2009 7:57 PM PST up reply actions

How is the game so far?

by big0lbad on Dec 5, 2009 7:58 PM PST via mobile reply actions

We're leading

in the first. Pretty big lead.

by RockyMountain on Dec 5, 2009 7:59 PM PST up reply actions

Wow how did we lose against this team.

by Sam50 on Dec 5, 2009 8:00 PM PST up reply actions

I like giving Kaman a rest early

He’s scoring well early, keep him fresh

by Michael White on Dec 5, 2009 7:58 PM PST reply actions

I'm liking the D

so far. Swarming and blocking.

by RockyMountain on Dec 5, 2009 8:01 PM PST reply actions

OT: Greg Oden might be out

for a long time. Looks like another major knee injury.

by RockyMountain on Dec 5, 2009 8:03 PM PST reply actions

Poor guy, so much for that career

johnhollinger: Rockets up 46-36, Hou bench with 26 pts,

by Michael White on Dec 5, 2009 8:07 PM PST reply actions

I knew when they got Adelman

they’re gonna be good. He made the Kings a more respectable if not very good team for a few years.

by RockyMountain on Dec 5, 2009 8:12 PM PST up reply actions

Lol one of the commentators said he guarantees Granger will get 18 or more tonight. Such a brave call considering he averages 25ppg.

Courtside photog just showed me close-up of Oden kneecap twisted way off to right side. Looks like either a dislocated kneecap or torn quad

God this team sucks

Ugh.

This is ugly. I think I’ll switch over to the Big 12 championship game to catch the last 2 minutes.

by Michael White on Dec 5, 2009 8:20 PM PST reply actions

Im thinking the ultimate fighter finale

I don’t like that 20ft shots from Kaman.

by RockyMountain on Dec 5, 2009 8:20 PM PST reply actions

End of the shot clock....

Teammates (Butler) not exactly helping him out there

by Michael White on Dec 5, 2009 8:21 PM PST up reply actions

Wow

Nebraska kicker just made a 43 yard kick to go up 12-10 with 1:44 left

by Michael White on Dec 5, 2009 8:22 PM PST reply actions

Wow Gordon has 5 Turnovers already. Not fun

by Sam50 on Dec 5, 2009 8:22 PM PST up reply actions

EJ has 5 TO!

C’mon EJ, get it together.

by RockyMountain on Dec 5, 2009 8:22 PM PST reply actions

At least the Clpper starting 5 back in

they got the Clippers a nice early lead. The second unit did nothing

kaman double dribble!!! hes not all there is he.

by Sam50 on Dec 5, 2009 8:33 PM PST up reply actions

What's with the hate?

are you advocating for DJ to play or something. Kaman is actually having a good game.

by Michael White on Dec 5, 2009 8:34 PM PST up reply actions

No hate, I don’t want Jordan in either. He’s just a turnover machine. Yes he is playing well I didnt say he wasnt

by Sam50 on Dec 5, 2009 8:36 PM PST up reply actions

Why didnt he just slam that down. Baron would have atleast 5 assists if we could make shots.

by Sam50 on Dec 5, 2009 8:38 PM PST up reply actions

no way

DJ needs to develop….Skinner is “14th Man” status on the team.

This is going to be my team, and we're going to rise together.
-Clipper Darrell

by oasisman on Dec 5, 2009 8:39 PM PST up reply actions

That's fine. If you don't want to try and go to the playoffs this year

You can’t have it both ways. If you want to win, play the best players. If you want to build for the future, shouldn’t be any complaints that the team sucks.

by Michael White on Dec 5, 2009 8:41 PM PST up reply actions

It's a tradeoff, you are right

Still, i think even without Blake, having Camby, Rhino, Kaman and DJ on the front line should be adequate. Skinner is definitely smarter on the court…DJ has a few athletic dunks here and there that Skinner can’t make. It’s a tradeoff.

This is going to be my team, and we're going to rise together.
-Clipper Darrell

by oasisman on Dec 5, 2009 8:46 PM PST up reply actions

Right it is a tradeoff

Because DJ obviously should get minutes to develop. But (to me) Skinner is better now. It just depends what the goals are. If its me, with the West seemingly down, I’d play for a playoff push now. Once that looks like its out, I’d get Jordan more minutes then…

by Michael White on Dec 5, 2009 8:47 PM PST up reply actions

Jordan

Was pretty was pretty instrumental in that Denver win. But everything was going right that game, even Butler was on.

by ghost_ride on Dec 6, 2009 12:06 AM PST up reply actions

Texas escaped.

O wow. I seriously don’t think they’re that good to play for the nat. title.

by RockyMountain on Dec 5, 2009 8:34 PM PST reply actions

Well depending on how fired up BD gets we could see a bit of entertainment when he puts Ford on his ass

by Sam50 on Dec 5, 2009 8:42 PM PST up reply actions

Still better to watch than Butler pulling up for a three.

by Sam50 on Dec 5, 2009 8:48 PM PST up reply actions

Oh crap, that's terrible!

Wow, I feel bad for Oden. He just hasn’t had the opportunity to really show what he can do.

by edk3 on Dec 5, 2009 8:48 PM PST up reply actions

It sucks

Oden had been pretty solid lately….it would have been interesting to see him play a full-year. Too bad it’s out the window now

This is going to be my team, and we're going to rise together.
-Clipper Darrell

by oasisman on Dec 5, 2009 8:55 PM PST up reply actions

When do the Clippers play Sacramento

Odd schedule so far. Played Memphis three times, second game against Indy from the east. And no games against Sac yet.

I’m interested to see Evans play

by Michael White on Dec 5, 2009 8:49 PM PST up reply actions

Maybe

he has great stats, but Jennings has more Star Power…if Jennings can maintain his scoring, he will be definitely ROY. If not, Evans is #2 right now.

This is going to be my team, and we're going to rise together.
-Clipper Darrell

by oasisman on Dec 5, 2009 8:50 PM PST up reply actions

Jennings is all over the place

with a lot of bad shootings nights, a few good shooting nights. While Evans has been consistent 20/5/5 so far.

by RockyMountain on Dec 5, 2009 8:54 PM PST up reply actions

A game so ugly it apparently drove away everyone from the thread

but the Clippers come out on top, and that’s what matters! :)

by edk3 on Dec 5, 2009 10:04 PM PST reply actions

Gotta love Camby.

That settles it. I’m getting his jersey.

by The Only Team That Matters on Dec 5, 2009 10:05 PM PST reply actions

WOW that Oden injury brought back bad memory

of Shaun’s awful injury….two good guys with bad looking injuries…

Low scoring percentage

I have no idea how they came up with a win

by highriser on Dec 5, 2009 10:12 PM PST reply actions

nice win

ill take it we need a thread early on how to beat the magic. I dont see a way to beat them

by KillaClip on Dec 5, 2009 10:25 PM PST reply actions

I can't believe we had long debates

over whether or not to start Rasual Butler. He sucks so much. I want the Butler from pre-season and the Denver game back.

Nice to have a win though, I hope we dont stay 2 games behind .500 all season though.

by peterghost on Dec 5, 2009 11:00 PM PST reply actions

only good thing about Butler's bad play

it has caused MDsr to rediscover Collins who has played pretty well in the time he is given.

In Gordon we trust
