Pretty fortunate that the Clippers had a ton of off days this week
gave EJ plenty of time to rest up. It’s been a week since he’s played and he only missed 1 gaem.
That Taiwan commercial is really startin' to bug

Streaming Footage
Does anyone else’s keep buffering / freezing?
Buffered once earlier
Then a little bit of lag. Now all smooth

Yea
It feels like he’s pushing it too much.
by RockyMountain on Dec 5, 2009 7:57 PM PST up reply actions
He's fine
he’s getting to the rack. Don’t worry about him.

We're leading
in the first. Pretty big lead.

I'm liking the D
so far. Swarming and blocking.
BRicky sighting

I knew when they got Adelman
they’re gonna be good. He made the Kings a more respectable if not very good team for a few years.

Courtside photog just showed me close-up of Oden kneecap twisted way off to right side. Looks like either a dislocated kneecap or torn quad
God this team sucks

Ugh.
This is ugly. I think I’ll switch over to the Big 12 championship game to catch the last 2 minutes.
Good game!

End of the shot clock....
Teammates (Butler) not exactly helping him out there

The fact that we're talking about Greg Oden more than this game is a sure sign of ugly Clipper basketball.
C’mon Clips, you can play better than this!
At least the Clpper starting 5 back in
they got the Clippers a nice early lead. The second unit did nothing
yup
sux

Hell, the boy will fill up the Gatorade cooler, walk the dog, and paint your back porch.

What's with the hate?
are you advocating for DJ to play or something. Kaman is actually having a good game.
by Michael White on Dec 5, 2009 8:34 PM PST up reply actions
No hate, I don’t want Jordan in either. He’s just a turnover machine. Yes he is playing well I didnt say he wasnt
DJ drives me crazy
I want some minutes for BSkinnz
by Michael White on Dec 5, 2009 8:37 PM PST up reply actions
no way
DJ needs to develop….Skinner is “14th Man” status on the team.
This is going to be my team, and we're going to rise together.
-Clipper Darrell
That's fine. If you don't want to try and go to the playoffs this year
You can’t have it both ways. If you want to win, play the best players. If you want to build for the future, shouldn’t be any complaints that the team sucks.
by Michael White on Dec 5, 2009 8:41 PM PST up reply actions
It's a tradeoff, you are right
Still, i think even without Blake, having Camby, Rhino, Kaman and DJ on the front line should be adequate. Skinner is definitely smarter on the court…DJ has a few athletic dunks here and there that Skinner can’t make. It’s a tradeoff.
This is going to be my team, and we're going to rise together.
-Clipper Darrell
Right it is a tradeoff
Because DJ obviously should get minutes to develop. But (to me) Skinner is better now. It just depends what the goals are. If its me, with the West seemingly down, I’d play for a playoff push now. Once that looks like its out, I’d get Jordan more minutes then…

Jordan
Was pretty was pretty instrumental in that Denver win. But everything was going right that game, even Butler was on.
Texas escaped.
O wow. I seriously don’t think they’re that good to play for the nat. title.
Nor do I
TCU should get a chance. Of course they won’t
by Michael White on Dec 5, 2009 8:35 PM PST up reply actions
Or the Bearcats. That no huddle offense
would be nice to watch in nat. champ. game.
by RockyMountain on Dec 5, 2009 8:36 PM PST up reply actions
Watching that game earlier today didn't convince me of Cincinatt either
I think Boise State and TCU could beat Cinci and Texas repsectively
by Michael White on Dec 5, 2009 8:37 PM PST up reply actions
You might be right. Either way
I don’t think the Longhorns are good enough. But somehow they made it.
by RockyMountain on Dec 5, 2009 8:39 PM PST up reply actions
Oh crap, that's terrible!
Wow, I feel bad for Oden. He just hasn’t had the opportunity to really show what he can do.
OT: I think Evans gonna win the ROY.
What do you guys think?
When do the Clippers play Sacramento
Odd schedule so far. Played Memphis three times, second game against Indy from the east. And no games against Sac yet.
I’m interested to see Evans play
by Michael White on Dec 5, 2009 8:49 PM PST up reply actions
Maybe
he has great stats, but Jennings has more Star Power…if Jennings can maintain his scoring, he will be definitely ROY. If not, Evans is #2 right now.
This is going to be my team, and we're going to rise together.
-Clipper Darrell
Jennings is all over the place
with a lot of bad shootings nights, a few good shooting nights. While Evans has been consistent 20/5/5 so far.

Dammit! The stream goes out in the final minutes of the game!
That sux.

Tell me about it.
Not exactly pretty basketball but at least the Clippers are winning, and now I can’t see it.
A game so ugly it apparently drove away everyone from the thread
but the Clippers come out on top, and that’s what matters! :)
Gotta love Camby.
That settles it. I’m getting his jersey.

WOW that Oden injury brought back bad memory
of Shaun’s awful injury….two good guys with bad looking injuries…

Low scoring percentage
I have no idea how they came up with a win
nice win
ill take it we need a thread early on how to beat the magic. I dont see a way to beat them
I can't believe we had long debates
over whether or not to start Rasual Butler. He sucks so much. I want the Butler from pre-season and the Denver game back.
Nice to have a win though, I hope we dont stay 2 games behind .500 all season though.
only good thing about Butler's bad play
it has caused MDsr to rediscover Collins who has played pretty well in the time he is given.
In Gordon we trust
