Danny Granger's Knee's
Probably old news to some of you, but I never knew the reason why so many GM's passed on Granger in the draft.

Still...
I had a sad feeling watching Granger and Harris in the ASG, knowing they both could have been Clippers.

Yeah...
Having him starting ahead of Thornton would be pretty sweet.
It’d be interesting to see what our team would look like if we’d made the best possible selection out of the last 5 drafts. Also, do a worst case scenario for the same time period to see which one we wound up closer to.
Well, most teams don't make the right pick every year.
It just gets magnified in Clipperland because this organization seems to have a propensity for creating the worst overall scenario for each draft. I’m sure each team could lament players that passed them by, but their histories aren’t nearly as bad as the Clippers’. It’s mainly the fact that the Clippers haven’t really made any picks to negate their bad ones, though this Eric Gordon fella looks pretty good.

You can always second guess...
I make a big distinction between, for instance, Olowokandi and Korolev. Every GM in the league would have taken Olowokandi. He was too big with too much potential to pass up. Obviously it turned out to be a bad pick. But who was the best pick in that draft? Dirk Nowitzki – a Euro who no one knew anything about.
Korolev over Granger is a different story. MDsr was the ONLY guy in the NBA who liked Korolev. Now, he didn’t think Granger was going to be available at 12, but he should have reacted when he was. Sometimes no one knows – this time, it was pretty obvious. The irony of course is that MDsr was reaching for the Nowitzki-type pick with Korolev.
