Heisler's NBA Roundup
Did anybody read Heisler's weekly article on the NBA in Sunday's LA Times? He listed tonight's Clippers-Heat game as his NBA Game of the Week. Then he wrote "just kidding" right below it. Heisler is a funny guy.
He also moved us to dead last in his NBA Power Rankings. After tonight's performace against Miami, I think it is well deserved. I'm curious if other reporters in other cities (let's say the Plainsdealer) have their own power rankings and if they list the Clippers as dead last too. Heisler is a local reporter so he might be biased toward the Clips. I mean do national reporters look at our team and think that we're just run-of-the-mill awful? Or do they consider us exceptionally awful?
If we're going to be this bad, then we should strive to be the absolute worst that we can be. We should revel in our badness.

Biased in a good way or bad?
Heisler is actually one of the more “fair” writers toward the Clips. We are either last or 2nd to last in most power rankings. Let’s see how things play out.
This is going to be my team, and we're going to rise together.

Biased in a good way...
in a sense that he pays more attention to the Clippers and our awfulness than other NBA scribes. Who is behind us in most NBA power rankings? It can’t be the Wiz because they swept us this year.

Swept us?
We’ve only played them once. We play them in LA in March.
The Kings can make a claim to being the worst right now. Their differential is actually worse than the Clippers. The Grizz might have had a claim as the coldest team, on a 12 game losing streak, but they beat the Wizards tonight.

ahhh...
my mistake…I thought we lost to them twice already…the losses pile up and run into each other, maybe it was the Timberwolves, Warriors, or Kings game I was thinking of. The Kings have 11 wins now however and Memphis has 12, while we’re stuck on 10, so we’re the worst of the bottom feeders for now. I guess I get to look foward to the Wizards game in March LOL…wins are like rare diamonds this season, especially home wins.

Heisler's good...
I like the weekly column and his pithy rankings. He usually seems to give the Clips the benefit of the doubt… but now there’s no doubt left. Clips stink. Stink.
