Sources close to the team revealed that team president Andy Roeser met recently with 100 or so season-ticket holders who implored Roeser to fire Dunleavy, who still has another two years remaining on the four-year, $22 million contract extension he signed during the 2007-08 season. In the aftermath of the meeting, the Clippers won their most significant game of the season when they defeated the defending NBA champion Boston Celtics.

Are there any Citizens of Clips Nation who attended that meeting with Roeser? Care to tell us what went on?

Interesting...
From the article…it appears to imply MDSr has about 15-20 games next season to prove things are improving. I guess it’s safe to assume nothing drastic will occur in the next 2-3 months.
This is going to be my team, and we're going to rise together.

Just means that after 20 games next year, we'll be about 4-16
and have little chance of making the playoffs, destroying another season. Get rid now.
Bingo! Oh me oh my!
Exactly
After winning 23 games last year, on pace to win 20 this year, leaving any room for tests next season could(and logically should) result in another disaster. A safe management decision would be to start clean next season with a new staff. I believe that some change is coming.

someone who was there said
the implication was that he would be gone
When was the meeting?
I find it hard to believe that none of the 100 were Citizens of the Nation.
Aren’t there only about 100 season ticket holders anyway?

What about the Sports Guy?
I can’t imagine that if he had info about this sort of thing, that he wouldn’t have spilled all.

Must have been
for some of the higher profile season ticket holders or long tenured ones. Never heard of any meeting until just today. At least they are trying to find out what the people want. Lets see if they will actually do anything about it.
It would make sense
As a Clipper fan, I see a well put together roster that is still struggling. I know there have been injuries, but they have played enough games together.

Great News
If it means by this time next season, we’ll either be done with all the Dunleavy talk, or the team will be greatly improved.
By the way...
Did you guys see this?
The Los Angeles Clippers need to take a page out of the Cleveland Cavaliers book:

Holy Mackarel
Is that for real though?
Guess I wouldn’t be too surprised, the way this season is going…Let’s all pool our money together and buy the team off him. We could be the first fan owned team in the league.
It's his own doing
That’s why he’s so frustrated. He needs a good GM and coach and realizes now he’s throwing $5M/yr. down the drain.
As bad a coach as Dumbloony is....
The only real hope for long term success for the Clippers is the NBA ousting Donald Sterling and forcing the sale of the team.
